The City of God Sacred Heart Refuge community is a third-order Franciscan prayer community that will consist of single female, male, and married missionary couples who desire to live a consecrated life to God. This religious order was found by Mother Clare and Father Ezekiel Dubois. They received new vocations starting in 2019 and now we have grown to have brothers and sisters all over the world who have also taken the vow to be in the world, but not of this world by taking the vow of charity, holy poverty, substantial prayer and substantial solitude.
STATMENT OF MISSION
Our mission is to live and encourage the faith and the lifestyle of the first century Christians, relying radically on providence and an intimate transforming relationship with Our Lord, Our Lady, the Saints, and Angels.

We teach the necessity of discerning Gods perfect will for our lives, and a complete giving of our lives to Him, that He may bring us to a point of fulfillment of mission according to His Divine plan that will ultimately bring us the greatest joy and fulfillment in this life and in eternity.

We especially are called to the counter cultural generation and their children, who often live primitive and mystically oriented lives without any solid authentic Christian spiritual formation that appeals to their own unique culture.

We are also called to serve those who have not been able to find a church in which they feel at home and comfortable, but are serious about their spiritual walk, especially fallen away Catholics.

Our primary apostolate is intercessory prayer before the Blessed Sacrament and instruction by example, spiritual direction, teaching techniques of discernment, hand in hand with the Holy Spirit. Our goal is to assist souls in attaining the navigational and discernment skills necessary to put their complete trust in the Lord and His direction in their lives, that they may reach the unique vocation He Has called them to fulfill, and thereby spread the Gospel.

We promote The Divine Mercy Devotion as presented through St. Faustina, and the devotions and the practices of mercy, as a means of deliverance and sanctification from the evils of this age and as powerful source of help for those who seem to have no hope.
I. We Encourage A Personal Relationship With The Holy Trinity
To encourage an intimate, healing and life-changing union with Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God the Father.
To live a life of obedience based on two-way communication, formation and direction from the Holy Spirit.
To keep Him company in the Blessed Sacrament, making reparation for our sins and those of the whole world.
To maintain an attitude of deep life-changing repentance and spiritual

To lovingly embrace our cross for Jesus, accepting the sufferings of this life in a spirit of reparation, knowing that this is truly productive work for the
Salvation of souls.
II. Faithfulness to the Holy Apostolic Church in her many different traditions, both Western and Eastern rites.
To live a life of faithfulness to the Holy Apostolic Church, honoring Her
Holy Traditions, without pretense or stiffness.
To avoid participating in situations that support class structure, while always remembering that he Lord Himself came from the trade class and​
To uphold the integrity and structure of the Holy Apostolic Church through supportive discernment and appropriate action, as we
navigate the treacherous waters of apostasy.
To follow the legitimate authority of the church in far as it does not contradict the Scriptures of our consciences.
To honor the chair of Moses, but not follow practices that
contradict the morality or teaching teachings of the Church.
III. Authentic Devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary,
To practice true devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, as the first disciple, our mother and intercessor with Jesus, as He established in the Scriptures.
IV. Spirit-Filled Worship
To worship and exult in God with lively worship and he infilling of the Holy Spirit, in a balanced and orderly way, never favoring the miraculous over solid virtue and the witness of a holy life.
To exercise the gifts of the Holy Spirit as they are given, with tongues and the accompanying gifts in the 1 Corinthians 12, sanctioned by the Church; wisdom, knowledge, healing, mighty deeds, prophecy, discernment of spirits, varieties of tongues and interpretations.
V. Unity without compromise among all faiths of good will, and especially all Christians,
To go forth as an ambassador of the Gospel, sent forth by the Utrich lineage of the Old Roman Catholic Church, to promote peace, unity, and cooperation within the Church.
To promote peace between all Christians, and all faiths of good will, without compromising the truths of the Holy Church.

To be gentle, patient and respectful with those who hold differing beliefs, remembering always that the Lord Himself instructed he workers not to pull up the weeds sown amongst the wheat, lest the good be destroyed along with them.
To carefully avoid disputes, divisions and rivalries, both within and outside of the Church. As the Lord Jesus, St. Paul, St. Francis and Mother Theresa set a loving example, avoiding judgment or quarrelling.
To promote conversion in the world by personal sacrifices and fervent prayer, placing eminent trust in the Holy Spirit of God to work conversion in our lives and the lives of others.
VI. The Apostolate of Our Mother of Mercy
To propagate the Mother of Mercy devotion, entrusted to us.
To teach and encourage the Rosary as a contemplative transforming prayer, and powerful weapon as well as a great help to personal holiness.
To lead Spirit-filled worship and Mother of Mercy contemplative Rosaries.
To promote the objective of the mission through distribution of writings, contemplative music and art.
To make available, retreats and spiritual direction.
To offer the Holy Mass and complete sacraments of the Catholic Church, and encourage priestly vocations.
To provide a refuge for the Heart of Jesus, in the wilderness, where there is nothing offensive to His Heart, and through monastic seclusion, prayer and sacrifice offer intercessions for the world, especially for Mercy.
VII. Personal lifestyle, a living testimony
·To live a life of evangelical poverty and total dependence on providence.
·To strive to be a living witness, in a materialistic culture, that God alone is all is needed for happiness and fulfillment.
·To encourage all souls to dedicate their lives and resources to working towards the coming of Gods kingdom here on earth, with wholehearted abandonment.

To maintain a website that offers Spirit-led discernment for simple souls, and provides access to free downloadable art, music and writings to a deeper espousal relationship with Our Lord in the tradition of primitive first brothers and sisters of St. Francis as well as the tradition of Mount Carmel. Our Catholic Tradition and Succession

We are Orthodox Catholics living in the traditions of both the primitive Franciscan and Carmelite orders.

We are independent of the Arch Diocese of Santa Fe, and under the Catholic jurisdiction of Bishop Paul Robert Sales, Diocese of Los Angeles, Old Roman Catholic Church.

We fully respect and honor the traditions of the Early Church and share in her traditions and lineage.

We honor all Catholic rites and sacraments that are within the apostolic succession of Peter.

We are ordained within apostolic succession tracing our lineage to the chair of Peter at Antioch.

We do not sanction, same-sex unions, or abortion in any form.

We respect the office of the Vicar of Christ on earth, the Pope the leader of the Roman Catholic Church., but we don't follow him as our leader. The Holy Spirit the leader of this order and ministry.
