I’m Counting on You

Hello, Brothers, Sisters, and Heartdweller family.

I have been feeling like I am walking through the miry clay. You know, not being able to find my footing really. Also, with the health issues I have been having— feeling just sluggish about everything—unsure yet again, and a bit overwhelmed concerning everything the Lord is calling me to do. I pulled a card from my own personal Rhema file after the Lord’s Supper, and I was surprised when I saw my first card. It said,

“I am counting on you”- Jesus

I thought, whoa, the weight of those words and that Jesus was counting on me— little ole me? Really, Lord? As I thought, it seems like some huge shoes to fill. When God says He is counting on you, what can you say?

I am so aware of my absolute misery and weakness, more than ever, and sometimes you feel like you can’t get up from that place. I was talking to another brother in Christ, and he too was telling me about his concerns, a few days later. And He said,

‘Honestly, I don’t feel at all worthy to be given any responsibility here or with this ministry. I have messed up Soo… much stuff and been unfaithful with Soo… many things that I can’t possibly see the Lord giving me that at all.’

I thought, wow, okay something is going on. We must all be getting hit with arrows of unworthiness and condemnation for sure. So, I told him the Lord gave me a message about it.

So, I came before the Lord,

Lord, you’re counting on me. Please don’t allow my weaknesses and imperfections to get in the way.

Jesus responded,

“Then, My beloved, cooperate with Me. You are anxious about many things. Be still and trust Me in all I am doing.”

Lord, how can you count on someone so weak and feeble?

“Because… I will strengthen you by My grace. Only I know what’s inside of you and Only I know truly what you’re capable of and what you are not. That is for you and all My brides. You all look entirely too much on yourselves and your weakness, which causes you to buckle, shake at the knees—and for some of you—paralyzes you in fear stopping you from doing all that I created you to do. If I ever ask you to do something, My brides, it’s because I know that you can. I believe in you, and I am counting on you to do the very thing which you were created for.

“So much resistance is coming against My brides, My beloved ones. But do not let that stop you, My dear ones, I am equipping you with power from on high to move forward through the barriers of your own mind and the barriers of your own incapabilities, and look only to Me.”

I definitely need much strength, Lord.

“And that is why I gave you the Rhema that I am about to increase My glory upon you   and make known to you your inheritance. Not just for you, but for all My Brides”

Lord, what does that mean or look like?

“My glory is My manifested presence in your life. In every area of your life, Beloved, you will see Me moving. My presence will be so strongly on you. You will walk in greater confidence in who I am in you and the plans that I have laid out for you, Your inheritance is all you get in ME. In Me is found everything. You find life, happiness, purpose, gratification, gifts, anointings, contentment, fulfillment, peace and joy unspeakable. I am making and already have ensured that the boundary lines for My beloved ones will fall in beautiful places. (Psalm 16:5-8). All of you are undergoing a process and it will continue until I return for My brides. But know that I am working, and I am moving.”

“I am counting on each of you because I have chosen you before the foundation of the earth to be mine. You cannot be snatched from My hands, and you cannot fail, Beloved ones. You will not fail as long as you keep cooperating with Me, My doves. I have so much in store for each of you. There are many souls who are given graces— gifts, and yet they end up veering away towards the end because of so many different vices.

“I cannot usurp your will, but you are My spouses, and My love for you will draw you and lead you back to Me when things get too burdensome. What we have, My beloved brides, is love. Your love has been the greatest consolation for Me, and it is what binds us together. I can trust you. I know I have your heart, and you have mine. Even if at times you wander, My brides you always come back because you love Me and you have responded to My love. And it brings the greatest joy. That is why I can count on you.

“Our love is a sustaining love even through the darkest nights and the most fiery trials. It’s our love that keeps you going even when you don’t want to. For that I am grateful, My beloved ones. I am very grateful. But please, do not get cold feet or stop halfway.

“Stop condemning yourself or seeing yourself unworthy for all that I have prepared for you or that you are not important—that I can just get someone else. I can’t, My loves, you are unique to what I created you for. I don’t want someone else, I want, and I need you. And I am counting on you to correspond and cooperate with all that I ask and all that I permit, My beloved doves. So no longer look at yourself anymore or be overwhelmed by your weaknesses that so impede you. I will rather cause you to look at My greatness inside you and will fortify the knowing that in Me you can do all things. I love you, My brides. I am counting on you. Do not disappoint. I know you won’t because I believe in you. You can do it.”
