Intimacy with God: The Wedding

Hey brothers and sisters and YouTube family. Hope you guys are being blessed! As we complete this beautiful series on intimacy with God and falling in love with Jesus, it wouldn’t be right if I didn’t share my wedding with you guys. He did ask us to begin to plan our wedding with Him in heaven. And to begin even now being concerned with purifying our wedding garment and being consumed with every detail of preparation. So I began that during Holy week. And He has some beautiful vows for you too, as well.

I began to dream with Him how I would want our wedding to be. I asked the Lord to begin to purify my heart, help me to really walk in brother love and give me opportunities to serve and love him through others. I asked him for the grace of thankfulness for whatever he allowed that I would bear my cross and suffering not only patiently but with a cheerful disposition now if I can be honest I struggled with that lol. But he answered every one of my prayers. Guys all of these are wedding presents we can give to our beloved spouse and savior Jesus. We don’t have that much time but with the time we do have left any act of kindness, mercy, charity to others are gems as he has put it on our wedding garments and our crowns. Especially when we suffer with him and we carry the crosses he gives us daily to bear he is so pleased. We can offer every suffering which is every inconvenience or pain he allows to him as a wedding gift. Resigning ourselves to the Lord’s complete and perfect will, praising him in the midst of our trials. All of these things prepared our wedding garments and our heart for our heavenly home.

So as I got to plan the details of our wedding I began to envision this with the Lord as he played the song “Longing” By All Sons and Daughters my heart leaped to the Lord. It took my mind and my heart straight to him and I just knew this was one of our wedding songs. So I began to envision this wedding taking place. I saw myself in a beautiful wedding dress that Jesus had designed just for me. It was evening time and the sun had just set. I was then taken by my guardian angel to a boat in a lagoon. As we entered the boat he began to row it. I could feel the soft breeze touching my cheeks as my veil fluttered in the wind. Then I looked at the beautiful deep blue water and touched my fingertips across the waves.

At my touch the fishes of all different colors began to jump up out of the water into the air blowing kisses at me. I began to laugh in awe as I knew that this was a wedding gift for my beloved spouse as I was preparing to meet him. We then arrived shortly to this bank and there was a beautiful big willow tree with lights as I saw Jesus standing at the base of the tree waiting there for me. Papa God walked me down this beautiful isle that was traced by beautiful butterflies that glowed. The place was lit up so beautifully with each step I took these beautiful glowing butterflies would fly away as I walked closer and closer to meet my spouse. He was in all white with a white vestment across his shoulders. Smiling with tears in his eyes with his hands extended as we held hands

I looked at my beloved face, I couldn’t believe it standing face to face with Jesus. As I touched his face repeatedly and gazed into the eyes of the creator, gazed into the eyes of the one who had loved me, cried for me, carried me. gazed into the eyes of love itself so deep, so profound, so beautiful and so endless, so riveted on me…

We then exchanged vows and Jesus began,

To my beloved queen and spouse will you reign with me, will you be by my side for better or for worse? On the sea of suffering and the waves of agony to the mountain tops of glory. I want you by my side. You are my heaven on earth, the high point of my day and I am incomplete truly without you. I vow to be your keeper, your protector and redeemer I vow to never once leave your side but be there when you are weary to hold you up to bare you in my harms and tell you it will be okay, I vow to proctor you , your thoughts, your hidden secrets, and the deepest recess of your heart in my chambers where I make all things new. I vow to be near always never suffocating because I love, present and honor your will but I will never before far from your call, when you call I will answer here I am, I vow to catch every tear and kiss them off of your cheeks with words of affirmation and promises of restoration.

I vow to be with you in sickness and in health for I will be right by your side nursing you, suffering with you and running with you. I vow to always care about what you have to say, what your desires are and those who you hold dear to your heart for our hearts will become one, I vow to defend you in battle when things get hard and difficult, I vow to be your safeguard in your rear, in front and on all sides, I vow to be your lover, the one you can come home to everyday and find sitting waiting with expectation to hear your heart, to comfort and encourage you. I vow to walk with you on this long road called life until I take you to myself. as we cross over to the threshold of our entirety together. Will you take me as your beloved spouse, savior and friend?
