Mother Theresa Weapons For The Battles—Love and Kindness

“Lord, I have received Mother Theresa twice today in the rhemas. Maybe You would like her to address us?”

Jesus began,

“Yes, beloved. She has long awaited to speak with you concerning your work and the City of God community. She is working alongside very closely to My Mother and Sister Thea bowman to ensure that all I have envisioned and purposed for the community and order comes to pass.”

I then saw Mother Theresa coming to greet me. She looked much like the pictures we see of her. She was smiling and reached for me.

“My daughter, how are you?” She said.

I felt she grabbed my hand and put it in hers.

She continued,

“You have nothing to fear. Don’t hesitate to write the words you hear. I have watched over you even as a child and waited for this moment just as I have watched over your spiritual father Ezekiel. He is a beautiful man and a beautiful soul.” As an aside, family, I found out when I came to the mountain, Father Ezekiel has had visitations from Mother Theresa before. She actually is like his spiritual mother in heaven. And before he came into the order and started his missionary life, she came to him and helped him with the priesthood and everything. So that’s cool. Now she’s coming to us as her spiritual daughters and sons.

“I want to encourage you and instruct you concerning the preparing for the community and the vows being taken by Sister Christine. Yes, I know her very well and all those chosen to help in this mission. None of you should fear the roars of Satan. Because he will come, many times, spiritual persecutions by him and the devils to discourage you. And many other times, physical persecution by the locals who lack understanding, and by the intentions of wicked men, and by those who are jealous or suspicious of your motives and why it is you’re helping their communities. Remember my beloved little daughter, it’s never your job or that of others to convert anyone.” She said smiling.

And as an aside, this is personal, because when I watched the ‘Mother Theresa’ movie, it’s so inspiring. I’ll put the link in the comments. But when I watched her movie, there was one scene where I found myself contending in my heart with her direction. She ended up taking on Hindu temple. She bought it and she used it as an infirmary for those who were dying. And the Hindu people were so upset with her. The people in the community, they came to actually kill her and the sisters, stone them, and caused a roar, and she completely disarmed them by opening up the doors of the Hindu temple and letting them see what she was using it for, the sick, the dying and the poor. And of course, for the Hindu, that’s very sacred. It's a scared temple, a shrine. It's all witchcraft, just as what we are dealing with here. There are many shrines here in the city that make literally physical shrines, idols, and buildings have been built for the idols here in this area.

And I found myself thinking, she never preached against the Hindu people. She never declared the gospel that this is the right way to go and what they’re doing is wrong. You know, it’s witchcraft, and a part of me wanted her to say something. And I remember just going back and forth, you know, in my heart concerning it, thinking she seemed nice, she won the Nobel Peace Prize, but she never said too much against other religions, and I just felt kind of convicted by that, felt like she needed to. And I remember as I was tossing and turning in my mind and kind of judging her for it, I heard so clearly that the Holy Spirit spoke to me, and He said, “It’s not your job to convert, it’s your job to love.” and I realized, “Wow, Okay, Lord. That's interesting, because she literally changed the nation of India, changed the world by her words of wisdom and impact of how she loved the poor.” So, that’s why she’s saying to me, reminding me, because there’s a fire that burning in me, against heresy, false doctrine, and definitely against witchcraft and this traditional idea of worship and this false Holy Spirit that is being used here in Ghana, many places in Africa to draw so many who are ignorant and so many who have tickling ears away from the truth, the faith. And there’s something in me that wants to shout it out, tell them, and convict their hearts and let them know what they’re doing is wrong. It is so wrong, you know. And I realized that the few times I have done that with family members or friends, it didn’t go well. Nobody has converted or changed because of it. It's interesting how the Lord is leading us and what Mother Theresa is saying.

She continued,

“I did not, condemn the religion of anyone in my day. I simply preached the gospel. I showed them rays of hope through my actions of love, compassion and charity in the midst of the darkness they were suffering and living in.”   

“Just as you treasure the words of St. Francis preach the gospel, when necessary, use words. Let your lives, my beloved one, be lived out through the gospels. Meditate on them daily, and in that you all will find your way. I had many who also did witchcraft against us, the Hindu temples were everything to people at that time more so than it now in India. I didn’t preach against it; condemn it, the temples, the shaman or priest. I respected what they believed and loved the people they neglected, and it’s important for you to do the same.”

“There will be many temptations you all will have to rise up with righteous indignation for the traditions of the land and even those who practice witchcraft. Rather take your fight in prayer. Pray and bless them reverently. It is by your love, even in prayer, that the witchcraft will be dismantled around you. And it’s by the love shown in this community through the charitable acts and this welcoming demeanour to all, that this community will thrive. They have seen many ministries come and go and have been tested in brotherly love, and they always fail, especially when it comes to love their enemies and bless those who curse them. It's so easy for them to infiltrate their church community because of it.”

“But I charge you guys to be different. The Lord is showing all of you a higher way to receive authority and anointing and power over the works of darkness, and it’s by love. The greatest of all gifts is love. It will be difficult at first for some in the community, for they have been taught a different way for so long. And this is quite a new direction.”

I really began to struggle with what I was hearing because of the teachings we have heard, the ministries who have dealt with witchcraft. And it seems like we are just called to turn a blind eye.

“Yes beloved, you turn your eye towards Jesus, and His gaze will be on what’s being done, and He will take care of it. As you administer love and kindness, that is your weapon of choice for these battles the City of God community will face when it comes to your enemies. Trust me in this little daughter. As the City of God community grows and becomes known, they will ask you, “what is your secret?” And it’s love and kindness. Jesus desires that this place is an example to outsiders, sinners, and those held in captivity alike. Even be kind to your neighbours you have now, those you know who have ill motives and intentions. I had many enemies during my day, those in the local community, those in the church and those also practicing darkness. Yet nothing was able to stop God’s work and is still continuing today. So that would be the case for this community.”

“Now concerning the order and the work to the poor and the City of God. It would be fruitful for all who come to learn the language of the people. Simple things so they can communicate, and each one not always relying on a translator. Have each soul receive two habits. It's good for all to simplify. Always take less than you need, as St. Francis would say, “don’t steal from the poor.” Do not make the mission house so comfortable with everything you need but leave something to holy poverty. Just get what is most necessary for you all to do the work, your own ministries, so that you may have something to relate too with the poor. Contemplation is the core of your work. So pray in your hearts while you’re doing everything. Pray and smile always to one another and to all those you meet. There is a profound healing in just a smile especially to souls who are suffering. Lastly love your Jesus and love your neighbour as yourself. Love is what leads you to heaven. We love not because we feel like it but because we are compelled to, because what has been done for us. Each of you have been richly blessed with the tremendous grace, being brought out of the depths of darkness and destinies, which would’ve led each of you into witchcraft. Now out from that darkness into the Lord’s glorious light and gaze of delight and love, to be honoured with such a work to bring those who are now bound in that way which you should’ve all been in. Never forget that. God’s mercy towards you all.”

“Be a joy, be faithful to God and be faithful to your fellow brethren. I leave you with peace now to go finish this work with all of heaven rooting you on”

That was the end of Mother Therese message to us.

Please keep sister Christine in your prayers, as she takes her religious vows next week’s Friday on Sacred heart of Jesus Feast Day.  We also are getting the verdict for the land court case on June 17^th. Please pray that the favour will fall on us and the family that sold us the land. It's rightfully given to them so we can keep our land.   

Also, I would like to share few needs in the community. We need $100 to put a prayer book together for all 5 of us, including Sister Ella.
