Sharing With You What God Is Doing In The Children’s Ministry

Hello family I wanted to share with you, what all the Lord has been doing here at Mankessim as we prepare for the building of the City of God. I shared with you how the Lord turned thing around through prayer when our children ministry was hit with spiritual warfare through slander, evil whispers unbeknownst to us but the Lord knew and had us now pray for a substantial time right before we do ministry and the children have returned back.

We are now doing ministry at three different locations. At Evergreen which is right in front of the mission house to the local children in our community. We meet with them every sunday and provide biscuits and juice once a month. Then at School Kessim where its near Ella, we meet with them every Wednesday and also provide them treats once a month. Then at Edukma village which is an all muslim community that has given us the privellage in teaching the children about Jesus. We meet them only once a month on a Friday and provide them also biscuits and drink.

The children have really enjoyed themselves and especially at the School Kessim area they are hungry to learn the word. They come with their bibles, one has a tablet and another a phone to read the scripture and they make it a point to memorize it. These children are vibrant and have some request for you guys. You will see

The Lord is wanting to also prepare us for what the City of God community will be like by keeping the children at the center of what we do. We now are having to prepare teachings, activities and games to capture these young mind and keep their attention which can be a task because we teach them as a group and the age ranges from 15- 2 years of age. So we definitely need grace lol

Clinic:

we met the head nurse of the market clinic who asked us to please inquire our family to provide them with a TV for the patients who are poor market women who come in for check ups and pregnancy

Sister Ya: We also would like to share with you the needs of our wonderful house help Sister Ya. She is a mother of 6 and is the sole bread winner of her family/ The only income she gets is 650 ghc which is $65 US dollar a month to take care of  all of them through our ministry by helping clean the community house 4 days a week. Her husband struggles with alcohol and is an absentee father. She is very stressed and would love to start a bakery business on top of helping us at the community house. We gave her 200 ghc which is $20 and she made us 40 loaves of delicious tea bread, which we used to bless many in the community.We would like to bless her with a stove of her own which is $180 and to buy bakery utensils $150 and her eldest daughter is in need of a smart phone $120 to do homework which requires internet access.

School Kessim:

What your about to watch is my first time meeting with the children. Ella on her own was led by the Lord to start a bible study when she arrived here about 3 months ago. I was amazed at the attentiveness of these children she has done a wonderful job with them. When she first arrived they where unruly she said and the Lord gave her a vision of the children being Covenanted in secret to a pagan deity by an old woman who was practicing witchcraft. She began to intercede on the children behalf in that area and the Lord made away. I met them and we had left over shoes we gifts some of the children they were so happy. Those we were unable to provide shoes for we gave it to them last week and still have more who are needing shoes

Evergreen:

ON this day we had so much fun playing games with them to help them learn how to hear Gods voice.

We also got the wonderful privilege of doing the naming ceremony and baptism for Hamida’s son. She is one of our ministry children and was raped at 12 and became pregagnt. She is now a 13 year old teen mother with all the help and support from the mission house. He is named after Brother Bernard. His name is Robby Abba Sandaje and his baptismal name is Joseph Shalom. It was a glorious moment to see how the Lord can turn such a horrible act of injustice and trauma and bring something beautiful out of it. The Lord is wanting her to be the first teen mother we help by housing her at the mission house and raising her up. We are praying into the right time to present her family with that request. For now the baby still needs a few items so any donation amount to her cause would be greatly appreciated. Just send the donation and put Hamida. Thank you family

End of the video: So family this is a little insight to what we do here every week. In total we are ministering to over 150 children every month. We have to provide treats for them, and they have requested shoes, bibles, chairs so they can sit properly when we teach them. The treats for each community is $90 a month for al three communities. We would love to gift all the children bibles, those cost is$3 per bible for 150 children $50. We have given them rubber crocs before but we would love to buy the children actually tennis shoes that is $6 per shoes for 150 children. We also would love to purchase items for craft and teaching, like notebooks, pens, any craft activities we cane come up with for the lessons. So any amount of donations would be greatly appreciated.
