The City of God Phase 2 Building Project. Will You Help Us Build?

So, family, we are now in Phase 2 of the City of God building project. This is such a large vision and a big work the Lord has entrusted to us. We found it to be wise to break down the construction of this project into phases so that as donors and supporters on the journey you can see the progress of our work—your work.

We are so grateful for your prayers and support to get us this far! If you remember we shared the first video of the land a year ago and unfortunately, we had not been back since due to many obstacles, trials, and mission trips the Lord had us take. However, we did complete the surveying of all 100 acres, we finally paid for our portion of the land, which is 10 acres, and now need to switch it over to our name. We also paid for the topography, which came in handy. So, after clearing, and in Phase 3, we will be able to demarcate the land for the City of God community. So we finally begin building.

We returned this time, with our surveyor, our agronomist friend Franko, and a local who took us around to see which side would be best suitable for an access road to the land.

As of now none of the roads we identified lead to the land. So we need to create a road that would take us to our 10 acres of land. We will do this by clearing a road path from roads 1-3 which will be shown in the video. From road 3 we are looking at a good 1.2-mile walk to the land. Another option to road 1 which is a few kilometers from the nearest road.

After we have created the roads, we will now be able to clear the land for both farming and community living. We then would need to dig a bore well for water supply and water tanks as we use solar for now to use the bore well until we can get electricity which will be a part of Phase 3 of the community building.

Being full-time missionaries we live off the Lord’s providence through generous donors like yourselves. We support over 52 different people and organizations every month and are generous to those who are in need of help. We take care of the poor first and whatever is left goes towards this cause and this mission. We really need help to get this second phase completed.
