The King Who Tried To Reach The Moon

August 25th, 2026

Hello, hello, hello. This is Mother Anna and Bishop Ezekiel. Coming back to you on Mother of Mercy and our new part of our kind of children’s corner, Mountain Ranger.

Yeah, we decided to name it mountain rangers for what we are about to do, because Papa actually got it from the Holy Spirit, I believe. Or wait, actually it was baby rangers, we got it from Briella. We were doing a segment and Briella, Mother Anna’s daughter, little daughter over 6 months now, almost talking and she started going da da da, making her little sounds and it’s like the baby rangers.

Yeah, so I thought, “Wow, baby rangers, what about mountain rangers for the whole community?” So I was like that would be a good idea. And what do rangers do? They search, rescue. Yeah, they look out for forest fires. Right, and they bring much needed food and water for people who are lost in the mountains and who are struggling and dying of hunger and thirst.

So, we thank the Lord, for the real mountain rangers all the way around the world. Yeah, praise God. Because we need people like that. And you know, for us, we’re actually here to be just like that, right? But more spiritually as well as emotionally and mentally.

So to begin, I wanted to tell you a story. And Mother Anna and the little ones around her are all seated.

There once was a king, a great king. And one day he was looking at the sky, and he noticed the mountain in front. And he said, “I want this to be the biggest, greatest, best kingdom on the whole earth. I want our mountain to be the biggest, tallest all over.” And so he called for his helpers, and they all brought their shovels and they shovel and they dig and they would dig and shovel and pretty soon, they had four yards of dirt on top of their mountain. So they were even taller and it made it even bigger and better.

That’s awesome. Well, what do you think he did next? He went out at night, and he looked at the sky. And what do you think he saw up in the sky?

“Oh, I know.”

“What?”

“Stars.”

“Yep, he saw the stars. And what else was big and round like a big, big light?”

“He saw the sun.”

“He saw the moon. It was nighttime.”

“Yay. You can see where my head is at.” I hope that gave somebody a laugh. We went out at night to look at the sun.

You know what? We’re all blond here, regardless of where we’re from.

So the great king Arnold decided, “I want the biggest moon in the world over this kingdom. I want the best light over this whole kingdom. How can we pull that moon down here?” And his wise men said, “Oh, king, royal king, we would have to climb up to the moon first to bring it down.”

“So what do you think the king did next?”

“I don’t know, I would love to know.”

He said, “Bring me every box, every box that you can find. And we will climb and we will climb up to the great big moon and pull it down. And we’ll have the moon for our own and have the most famous, the brightest, the best kingdom in the world.”

“Yay, very ambitious kind.”

And the king was so excited. And all of his builders brought boxes. They stacked boxes, they made boxes, they glued boxes, they pulled out boxes and cut them up with scissors and stacked and stacked and one on top of another. And that’s a lot of boxes. King Arnold who was a short little dude, climbed on the first box, climbed on the second, climbed on the third box, climbed on the fourth, climbed on the fifth box, climbed on the sixth, climbed on the seven, climbed on the eight, climbed on nine, and climbed on 10. And they kept bringing boxes and boxes.

Everyone says, “And boxes and boxes and boxes and boxes.”

“Were they tired?”

And every time they brought a box, king Arnold would climb up on and get higher. And everyone says, “Higher and higher and higher.”

And the king began to become so excited, he lost his mind. He went crazy to get more boxes and bigger and higher and bigger and brighter and bigger than anything. And he just didn’t understand that we’re human and we can only do so little. You know, we’re like little guys.

“We are not God, right?”

No, and so the builders came to king Arnold and they shouted out, “Oh, royal king, please, we have no more boxes, and we even chopped all the trees in the kingdom. We have used everything.”

“Oh, no!” And the king was in rage and he said, “I want those boxes or I want that moon.” And there was one box left that they found from the little boy that was in the shed with the cow. And they took that box and they said, “King Arnold, this is the last box we have. Please don’t be angry with us.”

And the king said, “Give me the box.” And he grabbed the box and he put it on and he climbed up on top, and they said, “We have nothing left, oh, king.”

And he said, “Then start pulling boxes from the bottom.” He wasn’t even thinking.

They said, “Okay, if we do that…”

“Just do it.” he said.

And they said, “Okay.” So they pulled and they pulled and they pulled the bottom. What do you think happened?

“Did he tumble down?”

Crunch, crunch, crunch. Milly willy tumble bumble, and crash. All of a sudden, all the boxes fell and the king fell and he bumped his head so hard and he said, “Would you please help me? My head is hurting.”

And the people said, “Don’t cry. Don’t cry, old royal king, because you are smart and wise.”

But the one who was the smartest and the wisest and His name starts with a G. everyone say it with me now, “God!” And that day, king Arnold learned his lesson. And he learned a great lesson to become humble. And he never ever asked for anything again. But he always asked his people in his kingdom what to do. and his advisors, he listened to everyone. He was the most humble king and the most humble kingdom and the most humble land on the whole earth.

And so at the end of our story, what would that story speak to you, Miss Anna? Is there a parable there?

Well, what it speaks to me is that inside a man, they might have high hopes and ambitions, but God may not want them to do that. And the Lord allows for us to fall flat on our face when we have pride and that God honors more of a humble man and not much of a man who thinks he can get anything and everything he wants when he wants it. so let it be a lesson to us.

And I think that our holy Mother, the Mother of Jesus, help us to be humble and to ask others and not think that we are the biggest or the strongest and know everything, but always to come to you and to your Son Jesus.

And we’re going to take a pause break for just one moment and we will see you in a few moments. “we thank You, Lord, for all the good things You give us. Help us especially to share with those who don’t have what we have and maybe say, ‘well, today we’re going to give our hamburgers or our pizza or our sandwich to the poor ones.’ And that’s how we will learn that sharing is caring.

Thank you for listening today, Miss Anna, if you have anything to say before we sign off?

“just stay humble, be obedient and put God first.”

Oh, we love hearing from you. Thank you so much for writing and thank you for letting us come into your life and your home. We’re a family, we’re heart dwellers. Ame
