Am I Saved?

ree

July 27, 2025

Am I saved? Do I do enough for God? I have no joy or peace. Should I just give up   trying while I am at it? That is the question one of our brothers asked in our group this morning.    He was being pelted with many thoughts. This is what he wrote.

I want to be more obedient to God and live out His will for my life. I am not really good at praying, but I do have the discipline to pray even when I don’t feel like it. I am still doubting if I am truly saved. It says in the Word to walk by faith and not by sight, and that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus.

Jesus also made promises in the Mother of Mercy Chaplet that whoever prays the chaplet and believes in Mary’s title as the Mother of Mercy shall receive salvation in this life and the next. I have prayed this and have been doing this around 4:00

pm every day for a couple of weeks, and I do believe in Mary’s title as the Mother of Mercy. Still, I can’t seem to get the doubt to go away, even with more prayers focused on spiritual warfare. And I really want to live more for Jesus. I feel really lukewarm, and I want to be closer to Jesus to truly hear from him and get clear instruction in what he wants me to do, for it is written, “My sheep hear My voice and I know them”. Then there is also the operation of the sheep and the goats in Matthew 25. Maybe I am a goat or a wicked, slothful servant, as in the parable of the talents.

This is keeping me in constant worry, and it’s really affecting my mental health. I feel like I should just give up if I am not saved and going to hell anyway, because then what is the point to even try? I really don’t want to hear from Jesus that I am worthless. It is written, also, “Many are called but few are chosen.”

I am stuck with all of this in my mind constantly, and I feel like I will hear “Depart from Me, I never knew you”. Maybe I was never meant to be saved. It is there constantly. I don’t know how much longer I can take this, even with adding more spiritual warfare prayers. Even then, after it comes back and goes like this, back and forth through the day. Some days it’s better, though. Even saying, “Deliver us from evil”, seems to do nothing. Maybe my faith is really weak.

I think I am not born again as I have no fruit of the spirit, at least not the peace and joy part. And, a good tree will bear good fruit, and a bad tree will bear bad fruit. I don’t know what to do anymore. Maybe I should just give up my faith, as all of this turns me away from Jesus, and I can’t continue like this, being stressed out.

Does this sound like thoughts you have been bombarded with and entertaining? Does this sound like what some of you have been going through? I responded to this dear brother, but felt like the Lord wanted me to do a message out of this question. Because it is not just him that is being tormented, but many brides of Christ, whom satan toys with in this way.

First, let talk about salvation in general; In scripture.

Romans    10:9-10

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

So, you see per the scripture, if you have already believed in your heart and professed Jesus is Lord, you will be saved. And I would like to add a disclaimer to this. It’s not just a one-time prayer you pray, then you live anyhow, and think you’re saved. Or a one-time prayer you pray, and live one foot in the world, and one foot following Christ, and you will be saved. And it’s not a prayer you say often, rededicating yourself to Jesus, but never truly making him Lord.

You see, there are two parts to our salvation; not only confession and believing, but obeying and following, because to believe has led you to obey. But many who call themselves Christian do not obey, but rather they profess Jesus as Lord, but not Lord of their entire life.

It also says in Scripture

Luke 6:46- 47

So why do you keep calling me ‘Lord, Lord!’ when you don’t do what I say?

I will show you what it’s like when someone comes to me, listens to My teaching, and then follows it.

So, it’s very important as a true believer, we not only profess our faith that Jesus is Lord, but we also obey Him and follow Him.

Therefore, the doctrine of one saved always saved is not true nor biblical. You see, the scripture above even states, if you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart, you WILL be saved. Not that you ARE saved. Salvation is an ongoing process for a believer, as the scripture says;

Philippians 2:12

Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.

I love this Scripture because again, it confirms that we must obey the Lord. As Paul says, even more in His absence, which is the error now, that we must continue to work, which means to strive in our works of faith with fear and trembling.

If you are new to this channel and have never given your life to Jesus, I want to take a moment to offer you that opportunity. By saying this prayer of confession and prayer to follow and obey the Lord from here on out, repeat after me…

Father, in the Name of Jesus, Your Word says that if I believe in my heart and confess with my lips that Jesus Christ is Lord, then I will be saved. Lord, I know I am a sinner, and I need salvation. I cannot do it on my own through good works.  I sincerely repent of ever offending You and believe that Your Son, Jesus Christ, is Lord. I believe that He came to die for my sins and was resurrected that I may have eternal life in Him if I make Him Lord. Please, Jesus, come into my heart and be the Lord and Savior of my life. Please give me the grace to not only believe but to obey and follow You until the end, in Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen

Now to the beloved Brides; these who have already professed, believed, and have an intimate relationship with Jesus. You have done your best to follow, amid many failures and weaknesses, and you are tormented by these suggestions constantly. As I told our brother, he is in good company. Many saints were tormented, interiorly, with a cross concerning their salvation, such as St. Padre Pio and Mother Teresa, to name a few. Both saints, although doing great works for the kingdom and having such an impact and influence in their world they struggled in their faith through many dark nights, concerning their salvation. It was a cross the Lord had them carry, and a thorn in their flesh Satan used to buffet them.

As a bride of Christ, when you’re assailed with these thoughts, you can for sure know that it is an assignment from Satan to slow you down, to paralyze you. These are harassing spirits and demons of condemnation sent to lie to you. Your loss of joy and peace is not because you are not manifesting the fruit of the spirit, it is being stolen by the enemy because of these lies he is feeding you, and you are believing him. The enemy would love for you to give up on your faith or even give up trying, making it seem as though you serve a God who is a harsh taskmaster. But that is not it at all.

Each soul’s certainty of salvation will only be known at the end when each of us stands before the Lord. But what the Lord has promised is that if we trust in His unfathomable Divine Mercy, when we meet in our death, He will not stand as the judge but our merciful Savior, as told to St. Faustina in the Divine Mercy Chaplet Diary.

I have a link to the Divine Mercy Chaplet in the comments section for those who never heard the prayer or know about the prayer.

You see, I no longer look at myself too long. That is also a tactic from the enemy to keep you inward, as Mother Clare would say. You have focused so much on yourself, your failures, your shortcomings, your weaknesses, even your progress in holiness. Don’t judge yourself at all in anything. It’s a sign of self-love and self-preoccupation. The enemy will use this to keep you paralyzed and in a prison that steals all the joy in your salvation in Christ and makes you easily susceptible to a religious legalist spirit as well. Believe me, I should know, because I used to have one. It causes you not to be able to even focus on Jesus or minister to anyone else because you’re continuously discouraged, stressed, or depressed by your sins: what you did or haven’t done. That is not healthy conviction, that is condemnation. It steals God’s light shining in you because it is veiled by this cloak of condemnation and takes away the salt you have because you no longer minister or are sensitive to those who need ministry around you, even daily, but are consumed with yourself. So, the souls the Lord brings to be ministered to go by, in their oppression, confusion, or darkness, when you have the light they need.

To be honest, each of us is far worse than we even think, and as Jesus said, if he revealed all our hidden sins at once, we would be debilitated. So, in His mercy, he reveals little by little and helps us along the way, encouraging us to keep going despite our failures and falls. So, I always encourage souls, just as St. Faustina and St. Therese, The Little Flower, always stated, to run to the Mercy of God. His Mercy will never fail you. Scripture also tells us to come boldly before the throne of grace to obtain what? Mercy.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.

Come boldly every time you mess up  and know His mercy covers everything when you run to him with trust.

As it says in The Amplified Version,

1 Corinthians 1:8 And He will also confirm you to the end [keeping you strong and free of any accusation, so that you will be blameless and

beyond reproach in the day [of the return] of our Lord Jesus Christ.

When satan comes with this barrage of lies amid your weaknesses, failures, and lack of feeling, to attack your salvation and your identity in Christ, stand on this word, that Jesus will confirm you to the end, he will keep me blameless, strong, free of accusation on the day of the Lord. Speak this back and out loud, and be at peace.

Lastly, Jesus gave Mother Clare a message concerning those who will be taken in the rapture. Those who will be saved, and the litmus test for heaven is love. So begin practicing acts of love, charity, and mercy daily, and you cannot go wrong.

Scripture says, charity covers a multitude of sins. That is your ticket… be charitable, upon charitable, upon charitable.

Jesus has made it clear that He doesn’t judge us on our actions, but the motives and intent of our hearts. So, if you have good will to do something and you are unable to do it for whatever reason, guess what, it is still credited to you because you have the good will intent to do it. Isn’t that amazing? We serve a merciful and good God. He understands our frailties  and will give you grace when you step out in blind obedience in faith to please Him.

Lastly, you may be asking, what can you do to be more obedient, to serve the Lord more, to love Him more? Just as this brother asked. First, all things are done by His grace, so first ask for the grace in the areas you are struggling in, then ask the Lord to make you willing to be made willing to cooperate with that grace, and then step out in faith, whether you feel it or not. Ask the Lord to help your unbelief.

Mark 9:24-25

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

24 Immediately, the father of the child cried out and said with tears, “Lord, I believe; help my unbelief!”

Faith is not by feeling at all. Faith is not the absence of doubt or fear. Faith is doing it anyway. Amid doubt, fear, and cowardice, and doing it anyway.

Just like our brother here. He recognized he was lukewarm and wanted to do more for Jesus. He wanted to hear His voice and get directions from Him. And if that is the case, that is why the Lord has led you to this channel. To encourage you and teach you, to cultivate an even deeper and intimate relationship with Him. The Lord has encouraged us to get 3 rhemas daily and a rhema message which is a Holy Spirit anointed word from God which can be received through our website at www.Heartdwellersafrica.org/rhema where we have over 2,000 rhemas randomly picked when you ask Holy Spirit and click the button personally, from Mother Clare’s rhema box she has used to guide her for several years. The rhema message you receive will be a message from Jesus given to Mother Clare, but when given to you, it’s because a “now” word for your situation, or instruction Jesus wants to give you through the messages, to give you counsel. I also encourage you to begin journaling and doing Dwelling Prayer, where you get an intimate worship playlist and allow Holy Spirit to pick the songs by picking shuffle, and allow the Lord to minister to you through song. Afterwards, sit still and begin pouring out your heart before the Lord; then writing down what you think he is saying to you. I find when I tell souls that, they write more easily and allow doubts to wash away when I say, “write down what you think Jesus is saying. Once they are done writing, when they read it they are flabbergasted to find out it sounds so wise. There is no way it could come from them, and indeed, it was Jesus speaking to them.

I also shared with this brother two messages given to us by Jesus that would really be an encouragement, about those He will save concerning the Rapture, and also about what you can do for Jesus with the time left. We will be posting those messages on the channel following this message.

May You, Lord, give us the grace to trust in Your mercy. To trust that you will help us work out our salvation and to continue to walk with you even in our failures. Help us to stay near to you and to trust in your merciful love for us that as your bride you will keep us spotless and blames until the end. In Jesus’ Name I pray. Amen!
