Come to Me When You Are Hurt

Dear family, sweet greetings to you all. Anger is injurious to health. It deadens our spirituality and kills brotherly love, which is love for one another. Anger has a place in our lives when we are not properly formed in prayer or the word. This became evident in me when I was frustrated with my children. I became angry, impatient and hurt them with harsh words, even spanking my little one. I knew it would grieve the Lord, yet I couldn't control it. Thanks be to the Lord who loves us. Despite all the evil we do, He is merciful and kind.I was concerned about my relationship with the Lord because I had done an unspeakable thing by hurting my child. Discipline can be good, but when it hurts others, it is no longer discipline. It becomes a breach of brotherly love. I have done this many times; I have fallen into this sin repeatedly, and I am seeking the Lord's help to overcome my anger. Whenever anger rises in me, a fear settles in my heart. Fear of facing the Lord, fear of drifting away from Him, and fear of carrying guilt. When I sinned, I went to the Lord and asked for forgiveness, expecting no response. Thinking He would not speak to me, but the Lord spoke and heard me. Often in our sins, we believe the Lord will be distant from us.In fact, He is quite the opposite. He comes to lift us up and is ready to forgive. He is patient and kind, and we can trust and cling to Him despite our messes and sins. I am not condoning sin, but I want to calm anxious hearts that fear the Lord will reject them. I have battled this, dear family, and I am still battling, but the silver lining is that the Lord is with us and He will never leave us. Once you find Him, He will never leave you, unless you leave Him. Amen.

So I was before the Lord with my fears and guilt.

He began to speak:

“No longer will you fear Me. Trust and love is My demand, from Me and your children. Don't fail to show love. I know how hard it is for you, but trust. Don't cry, just trust. No, you are not. Look to Me and My heart and trust.

“Come to me when you are hurt. Trust Me, all will be well. Trust Me, dove, it will when the time comes; just wait.”

I was still trembling inside with disbelief. The Lord firmly said,

“Jahnavi, will you take My word and fast until I say? Trust”

That was the end of the Lord Jesus' message.
