Don't Ignore your Visions & Dreams

Hello Family, I have been sharing with you my journal, which I wrote during my 21-day fast in solitude with Jesus, in the month of June. Today, I share with you my thoughts which I penned down on my 7th day. These were my thoughts.

This morning, I am entering into my 7th Morning in Solitude with the Lord.

Father Derrick was around yesterday, late afternoon, but we did not see each other. He had come for meetings concerning the City of God Land, where the Community will be established in Ghana. However, modern “Axis of Sanballat, Tobiah, and Geshem have risen to derail and delay the work of the Lord. Job in the Bible says, "I know that you can do all things, and that no purpose of yours can be thwarted." We should live our lives always with this mindset, that the enemy is a defeated foe. Jesus encourages us always not to panic because of the "roars " of the devil. One of the reasons why a lion roars is to intimidate the enemy.

1 Peter 5:8 states,

"Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary, the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour."

The City of God will be established by the power and grace of God. The past few days, the Lord was teaching me a new way of intercession. Initially, I did not understand. I just assumed it was a dream.

This morning, after doing my Bible reading and meditation, I fell asleep, and the Lord showed me two visions. In the first vision, I saw myself in a house, in our bedroom, and a lady walked into the bedroom. In the physical, I don’t know the lady, but in the vision, it was someone I knew. It seemed it was normal. She walked into the room. By the way, the bedroom door was wide open all the time, and other souls had been walking in and out. She walked in, sat in a corner, and we were engaged in a conversation. We were not facing each other; I was a few metres away. I realised she had gone quiet. I turned to look at her, asking her why she was quiet, and I found she was naked. She had removed her clothes. I was shocked. I asked her to dress, but she said she has been yearning for sex and she is desperate; I should do it with her. Humanly speaking, no man would have survived this, but I walked towards her, placed my hands on her, made a short prayer with my hand on her forehead and asked her to dress, and she did. I woke up. Guys, the vision was real. Very real. So, I asked the Lord what in the world just happened? In my spirit, I was rejoicing because I had not fallen. That was God’s Grace.

The Lord revealed to me that this soul was about to fall into mortal sin. She has been struggling with this spirit of sexual immorality, and I should pray for her immediately.

I started praying a prayer I have learnt from Mother Faustina, "You, who are Mercy Itself, I beg You by the power of Your mercy deliver this soul from this evil spirit". I prayed for about five minutes and fell asleep.

The Lord taught me a couple of things from this vision;

1) In the dream, the doors to the bedroom were constantly wide open. This allowed anyone to just walk in. There was no restraint at the door. We should not have open doors in our lives. We must be vigilant always. The Bible is very clear. "Don't give the devil a chance", Ephesians 4:27.

2) Many souls are struggling with sin. We need to seek help. Don't keep silent with the sinful struggles you are having. We all need deliverance of some sort.

3) We should not judge or condemn those struggling with sin. We must realize they are under intense oppression. We must pray for them. It's demonic. They need deliverance.

We should be careful. Sometimes, out of our carelessness, somebody might have an evil spirit of some kind. Maybe of sexual immorality in them. You don’t know, and you become careless with them, innocently. But, under that power, you might find yourself in a very bad situation. So, we should be vigilant. Let’s not be casual about some of these difficult situations.

In the second vision, I saw a couple getting married. After the wedding they went to the bridegroom’s family home. At the home the family of the man rejected his bride even tore the marriage certificate. When news reached the bride’s family there was panic and confusion. The families looked Arabic or Asian.

The Holy Spirit prompted me to immediately pray. The family had no one to intercede for them. I immediately engaged into warfare on behalf of the two families. I trust the Lord saved the marriage.

Family, decades ago, when I was learning to walk in the spirit, the Lord instructed me to record all my dreams and visions, and, every day, take them to my Spiritual mother for discernment and interpretation. Guys, I learnt a lot from that. Later years I was away from my spiritual mother, and I asked the Lord what to do with my visions. This is how the Lord taught me to pray. After every dream or vision that I didn't understand, I should declare, "Lord, if it is Your will, may it come to pass. But if it's the plans of the devil, may it come to nothing." So, each morning, when I wake up, while I’m still sitting on the bed, usually this is what I do, I quickly go through the dreams and the visions that I saw in the night, I thank God for them, and I declare this, “Lord, if it is Your will, may it come to pass. If it is the plans of the devil, may it come to nothing.”

What does the Bible say about visions and dreams? In the book of Job:

Job 33:14-15

For God speaks again and again, though people do not recognise it. He speaks in dreams, in visions of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they lie in their beds.

How did Saint Paul react to his dreams and visions?

Acts of the Apostles 16:9-10

That night, Paul had a vision: A man from Macedonia in northern Greece was standing there, pleading with him, “Come over to Macedonia and help us!”

So, guys, we can see, can you imagine, Paul made a major decision like this based on a vision. But, definitely, you must be careful. We must discern, because, as the Bible says, in 1 John 4:1,

Dear friends, do not believe everyone who claims to speak by the Spirit. You must test them to see if the spirit they have comes from the Lord.

But please, let’s not ignore our dreams and our visions. That one channel that God is using in these last days to speak to His people. So, always consider your dreams and act on them. Pray about them, pray about them, talk to God about these dreams and commit the dreams to the Lord. Ask that His will be done, and the plans of the devil will be destroyed
