Don't Sabotage Your Destiny

Hello, Brothers, Sisters, and YouTube family. Destiny helpers, and Destiny connectors are individuals strategically placed by the Lord to aid in one's personal or spiritual journey, facilitating their advancement towards their intended purpose. Destiny helpers are individuals who, by God's grace, provide direct support and assistance; while destiny connectors facilitate connections with others who can offer help.

Both play crucial roles in helping individuals overcome obstacles and achieve their goals.

Jesus, Our Lord, uses Destiny Helpers to offer Direct Assistance to a soul. Destiny helpers are individuals who directly contribute to a soul's progress, whether through their resources, influence, skills, or expertise. They are often divinely placed to offer support in specific seasons and areas one's life such as ministry, career, or personal development.

Destiny Connectors, facilitate connections. Destiny connectors are persons who don't necessarily have the resources to help directly, but they can connect you with those who do. They act as a bridge, linking you to individuals or groups that can provide the support, guidance, or opportunities you need.

The Bible is full of divine connectors and divine helpers. On a light note, even Jesus needed a Connector. Remember these words;

"The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, ‘Look! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

He is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘A man is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’" - John 1:29-30.

You know, Jesus had somebody introduce Him to the world.

The Bible is full of Divine helpers and connectors:

  • Joseph, son of Jacob was connected to his Destiny Helper, the Pharaoh of Egypt, by the Pharaoh's Chief cup Bearer.

  • Barnabas was the Divine connector of Paul, to the twelve Apostles.

  • Naomi, the widow, was the Divine connector of Ruth to Boaz.

The Divine Connectors and Divine Helpers are vessels of God, in His hands, to fulfill His purposes in the Life of a soul.

Presently, Mother Caroline and I are reading the Life of King David and during our study of David, we learned many things, especially concerning Warfare. But one issue the Lord emphasised in our spirits is about Destiny helpers and Connectors.

King David had been secretly Anointed to be King by Samuel, but he was still shepherding his family sheep in the village in Bethlehem. How was he going to get to the palace or be recognised in the Kingdom?

Let’s turn to the Bible and see who connected him to royalty and eventually, the Nation.

1 Samuel 16:14-23

14 But the Spirit of the Lord departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the Lord troubled him.

15Saul’s servants said to him, “Surely, a distressing spirit from God is troubling you.

16 Let our master now command your servants, who are before you, to seek out a man who is a skillful player on the harp. And it shall be that he will play it with his hand when the distressing spirit from God is upon you, and you shall be well.”

17 So Saul said to his servants, “Provide me now a man who can play well, and bring him to me.”

18 Then one of the servants answered and said, “Look, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, who is skillful in playing, a mighty man of valor, a man of war, prudent in speech, and a handsome person; and the Lord is with sheep.

19Therefore Saul sent messengers to Jesse, and said, “Send me your son David, who is with the sheep.”

20 And Jesse took a donkey loaded with bread, a skin of wine, and a young goat, and sent them by his son David to Saul.

21 So David came to Saul and stood before him. And he loved him greatly, and he became his armor bearer.

22 Then Saul sent to Jesse, saying, “Please let David stand before me, for he has found favor in my sight.”

23 And so it was, whenever the spirit from God was upon Saul, that David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.

End of the passage.

Verse 18 reveals the person who connected David to royalty.

~ No names are given, but the Bible says he was a servant in the Palace.

~ The way he described David he seemed to know him well.

~ He not only knows the family but he seemed to be very familiar with David, either personally or via third party.

There is so much to learn from how David, by divine grace was positioned well for him to be visible to his divine connector. Notice how the Divine Connector announced David to the King, who was the Divine Helper in the Royalty where David's destiny was.

First, he described David as skillful in playing the harp. This was the main grace in him that opened the door for him to access the Palace. Secondly his connector said he was, a mighty man of valor, a man of war. Next the connector announced him as prudent in speech, and a handsome person.

And last but not least, he announced that the Lord is with him.

We paused when we read this part and Mother Caroline and I wondered, what announces us to the world?

Definitely the Lord put all these graces in David, but David must have cooperated with the Lord to nurture these talents and to be trained to be skillful at what he does.

Are we good in whatever the Lord has called us to do? Do we cooperate with the Lord's Grace to sharpen our God given skills and talents?

 The Bible says;

"Put your heart and soul into every activity you do, as though you are doing it for the Lord himself and not merely for others". - Colossians 3:25|(TPT)

Many souls sabotage themselves by neglecting to polish their gifts and talents, causing destiny connectors to overlook them.

I have a friend in Kenya who, whatever he does, whether he likes the task or not, he gives it his all. The two of us once were in a city together, away from our families, and we lived together. I was amazed by the way he cleaned the house. It was as if he was a professional cleaner. He asked me once to grate and pound Garlic, when in the kitchen, trying to fix a meal, and he did not like how I was doing it. He stopped and showed me the right way to pound the garlic. Who does that? [chuckle]

Do you think David would have been recommended to the Royal Palace if he was not skillfil? Let us help our children or mentor youth in our lives to be passionate about the tasks given to them. Let’s identify talents in our children, help them to nurture them.

Many Heartdwellers have been asked by the Lord to learn a craft or instrument? Are you a professional, are you skillful? Are you a homemaker; are you skillful?

Ruth, in the Bible, did not sabotage herself. By her conduct she positioned herself to be not only accepted as a bride to Boaz, but to be in the lineage of Jesus Christ. Notice what Boaz said about her:

“The Lord bless you, my daughter”… “This kindness is greater than that which you showed earlier: You have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor. And now, my daughter, don’t be afraid. I will do for you all you ask. All the people of my town know that you are a woman of noble character. (Ruth 3:10-11)

Jesus have you anything to add?

My brides, destiny helpers are divinely appointed to help a soul in a season to enter and walk in one's destiny. Many souls have missed opportunities appointed by heaven by failing to identify a destiny helper, and perceive what I am doing in your lives. Many souls are attached to their ambitions, self-will, opinions, and attachments This blinds them from accepting destiny helpers. Mortals judge souls by the flesh and human reasoning, failing to understand I can use anyone or anything.

My brides, be watchful, discern everything. Be sensitive to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Walk and live according to the spirit, not the flesh. When a soul fails to cooperate with a destiny helper, you miss a season and you become stagnant, sabotaging your own destiny.

Destiny helpers will never impose themselves upon a soul.

My brides, cooperate with all those I have appointed to help you walk in your destinies. Don't rely on your understanding.”

End of Jesus message.

Family, in the Bible, God used all sorts of people and situations to help souls walk in their divine destinies

• The Israelites spies were helped by a Gentile prostitute, Rahab (Joshua 2)

• Gentile widow of Zarephath helps Prophet Elijah (1 Kings 17)

• Idolatrous Kings helps Nehemiah rebuild Jerusalem (Neh. 2)

Heavenly Father grant us the grace to cooperate with our destiny helpers.

Until next time may we abide in Christ.
