Encounter God’s Heart… Ascending the Mountains December 24, 2025

Hey family, on the heels of the victory message. I got hit with a sucker punch a few days later in the morning, and one of the intercessors shared her readings in our group that she got about discouragement and depression, as she was going through her own trial. I also had a soul come over for prayer who was going through a difficult time, and she pulled the rhema card about discouragement. I realized it's an assignment that has gone forth to discourage many of us again, rather than believing and having faith for breakthrough Jesus promised, as we fasted and prayed against Jezebel and her sons. Then I had just opened my email after getting hit with a fiery dart of many thoughts that brought discouragement, and I thought Wow, this blog post is so on point from passion translation.

Jesus answered all my musings in my heart, and I knew that this would encourage all of you guys. So I wanted to share this word.

It begins, Encounter God’s Heart… Ascending the mountains

Let go! As you climb from desert to mountaintop, from the place of your undoing to the place of victory and refreshing breeze, let it all go. With each step you take, leave behind the pain. Forsake the right to be angry. Refuse self-pity. You’re becoming stronger. You’re beginning to remember who you are. You weren’t created to remain in the desert. Seasons change, and it’s important to recognize when they do. If you shut your eyes and grit your teeth, thinking things will never be different, you’ll miss the beautiful journey to the mountaintops. Open your eyes. Look where He led you. Your suffering has made you beautiful because you tucked yourself securely in His love. You are standing in the place of victory, so let your shouts of celebration be heard!

Father, don’t let me get stuck in a mindset of hopelessness or discouragement. Don’t allow me to wallow in the murky waters of defeat. Lead me to the mountains of joy and refreshing as we walk through the arch way of trust. Here in your love, becoming stronger, realizing you’ve never left my side.

Isaiah 42:11 The Passion Translation

Let the desert and its villages lift their voices in praise! Let the tent villages of Kedar shout their praises! Let the residents of Sela’s cliffs shout with glee, with a celebration shout from the mountaintops!

Amen and amen.

Just a reminder, we are finished with the 70 days of prayer. By the grace of God, we completed it. Praying against Jezebel and her 70 sons, can you believe that! Now it's time to take down the altar of Jezebel.
