Hello, Brothers, and Sisters and Heartdwellers Family. Join me once again as I share another reading from the daily devotional book, Jesus Calling: Enjoying Peace in His Presence.
The first reading for this week is, Nothing Can Separate You From My Love, dated August 1.
Nothing can separate You from My Love. Let this divine assurance trickle through your mind and into your heart and soul. Whenever you start to feel fearful or anxious, repeat this unconditional promise: “Nothing can separate me from Your love, Jesus.”
Most of mankind’s misery stems from feeling unloved. In the midst of adverse circumstances, people tend to feel that love has been withdrawn and they have been forsaken. This feeling of abandonment is often worse than the adversity itself. Be assured that I never abandon any of My children, not even temporarily. I will never leave you nor forsake you. My presence watches over you continually. I have engraved you in the palms of My hands.
The scripture references are:
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height, nor depth, nor anything else in all creation will be able to separate me from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord
Joshua 1: 5
“No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Isaiah 49:5-16
“Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will never forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are ever before me.
The second reading for today is, Bring Me the Sacrifice of Your Time, dated August 2nd
Bring Me the Sacrifice of your time: a most precious commodity. In this action-addicted world, few of My children take time to sit quietly in My presence. But for those who do, blessings flow like streams of living water. I, the One from whom all blessings flow, am also blessed by our time together. This is a deep mystery, do not try to fathom it. Instead glorify Me by delighting in Me. Enjoy Me now and forever!
The scripture references are:
Psalm 21:6
Surely you have granted him eternal blessings and made him glad in the joy of your presence.
John 7:37-38
“On the last and the greatest day of the feast, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink. Whoever believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him.”
Psalm 103:11
“For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so is His love for those who fear Him.”
Psalm 34:3
Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt His name together.
That, Brothers and Sisters, is the end of today’s messages. Let us remember to never separate ourselves from the Lord. No more than a mother, can forget her child, will the Lord ever forget us. He will never leave us or forsake us.
Additionally, He has asked that we sacrifice our time to sit quietly with Him. We live in a world addicted to many, many distractions. But those who are willing to spend their time, sitting quietly with the Lord, will be blessed with rivers of living waters flowing from within them.
Be blessed, dear ones, until the next message.
