Possess the Gates of Your EnemiesDecember 16, 2025

Hello family, Derrick had a trip to Ivory Coast. I was helping him to prepare for it. Jesus began nudging me that I needed to go with him as well. To be honest, I didn’t want to go. I thought to myself, it would be too much taking baby girl, having to prepare and have everything ready for her daily, I preferred to stay at home.

However Holy Spirit wasn’t letting up, and at first, Derrick wasn’t too keen on the idea, but the Lord kept insisting, I didn’t know why. I had others discern and confirmed I was meant to go. So I asked him again to join him, and he finally said yes. So Derrick, baby girl, and I left, which would be the first time for me in this country. When I arrived, I felt like a fish out of the water because I still wasn't sure why I was there. I was just stuck in the hotel until Derrick gets done with things and really wanted to go home. Then on the second day, I decided to pull some rhemas, and I got Psalm 24.

PSALMS 24

The King of Glory and His Kingdom

A Psalm of David.

1The earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness,

The world and those who dwell therein.

2For He has founded it upon the seas,

And established it upon the waters.

3Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord?

Or who may stand in His holy place?

4He who has clean hands and a pure heart,

Who has not lifted up his soul to an idol,

Nor sworn deceitfully.

5He shall receive blessing from the Lord,

And righteousness from the God of his salvation.

6This is Jacob, the generation of those who seek Him,

Who seek Your face.

Selah

7Lift up your heads, O you gates!

Be lifted up, you everlasting doors!

And the King of glory shall come in.

8Who is the King of glory?

The Lord, strong and mighty,

The Lord mighty in battle.

9Lift up your heads, O you gates!

Lift up, you everlasting doors!

And the King of glory shall come in.

10Who is this King of glory?

The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory.

Then I realized all week what had been dropping in my spirit was about possessing the gates, the psalm we learned from Pastor James Kawalya during His consecration camp. This psalm we learned from Pastor James Kawalya during our time at his prayer consecration camp, revealed a spirit dimension of spiritual gates over places, nations. When I would read this psalm or hear songs that would use these Scriptures, I would sing it, not having any idea what it means. As a light bulb went off in my head, and I thought, Lord, did you send me here to command the gates to be lifted up in this country? Could that be true? I thought- Why this nation and why me? I have learned the seriousness of spiritual warfare and dealing with territorial battles, and I couldn’t understand why the Lord would have me command and declare such a thing over this country.

Many thoughts began to flood my mind like a download, and I felt strongly it was Jesus talking to me. So I came before Him. Lord, the truth is, I don’t want to be led by my own opinion or spirit, rather, but yours. There is a little bit of fear thinking I am usurping my jurisdiction or will call forth a battle I am not ready for.

Jesus immediately responded,

“Who owns the world?” You do Lord.

“And everything in it. When I died, I took the keys not only of  My kingdom, but the kingdoms of this world from Satan, and all authority was given to Me, and now I have given it to you, beloved. You walk with the Father's authority and everywhere you go, everywhere your feet tread, you have been given power to dispel the darkness and the wickedness of the land, so do not cower nor fear. I have made you invisible to your enemies, and there is nothing no one can do. You have been called to this office, and it is a part of your destiny, beloved.”

I thought, what office?

“An apostolic office, you are My apostle, and just like I sent My disciples into different parts of the world to conquer, so I am sending you forth, little but mighty in Me, and so are your children. Your lowliness will often cause you to be overlooked not only in this world, but even in the spiritual. I have not called you to be pompous, flashy, or showy in the gifts that I have given you, beloved. I am leading you and the rest of your children like fools in this world- wanderers, My precious vagabonds, having no place of your own but going everywhere I send you to take heaven's ownership over places. There will be many times you will see no fruit right away, but you have no idea the impact you are making in the spirit. Just as I sent Melchizedek ahead of Me to mark certain places to be places of holiness, sanctity, and holy sacred temples, I am sending you forth to prepare the way for Me in prayer.”

Hebrews 7:1-3

1 This Melchizedek was king of Salem and the priest of God Most High. He met Abraham returning from the defeat of the kings and blessed him, 2 and Abraham gave him a tenth of everything. First, the name Melchizedek means “king of righteousness”; then also, “king of Salem” means “king of peace.” 3 Without father or mother, without genealogy, without beginning of days or end of life, resembling the Son of God, he remains a priest forever.

As an aside, that revelation that Jesus mentioned was given to Blessed Anne Catherine Emmerich through her book The Visions of Jesus, where the Lord gave her the revelation about the true identity of Melchizedek and His purpose not only to Abraham but to the kingdom of God. He went over all of Israel and set up altars in the earth, using rocks like markers where at the time there was just bare land everywhere where he created an altar, in the future became a place of major significance. Synagogues and even cities where Jesus would go or visit. It was quite amazing. He went before the Lord to literally prepare the way.

Lord, I’m thinking, but there are probably many other ministers in this country whom you can use or who are doing the same thing.

Jesus responded,

“My beloved, do not think of anyone else; that is what stops souls from doing My bidding because they feel I can get someone else, or what they have to do is not important. Everyone has a role to play. For those who respond to what I am asking, it is for you to do and no one else beloved. Stop thinking so much and have childlike faith. Do not fear Satan or his attacks because they will come. Your warfare will increase here and even afterwards, but the fruit and the foundation that you would have laid down will be copious more than you can imagine, beloved. I am using you and your beloved like the cedar shoot I referenced in Ezekiel 17:22-24.”

22 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will take a shoot from the very top of a cedar and plant it; I will break off a tender sprig from its topmost shoots and plant it on a high and lofty mountain. 23 On the mountain heights of Israel, I will plant it; it will produce branches and bear fruit and become a splendid cedar. Birds of every kind will nest in it; they will find shelter in the shade of its branches. 24 All the trees of the forest will know that I, the Lord, bring down the tall tree and make the low tree grow tall. I dry up the green tree and make the dry tree flourish. I the Lord have spoken, and I will do it.

“I am giving    you my authority to possess the gates of this nation. I did not call you Mother of Africa for no reason, My little one. You asked for the nations as your inheritance, and so shall it be not for your name's sake, not for your glory but for Mine. I have brought you here to not only pray for your beloved, for he is a lowly instrument I am using. He has no idea his impact in this nation and the many nations I will send him, favour him, and give him resources to bless My body and bless the church. He is starting in business, yet very soon he will be fully about My business.

My ways are not your ways, nor My thoughts your thoughts beloved, simply accept who you are by My grace. You are a gate opener, you and all your children, because you do not seek Me for the gifts but to know Me and My heart. My beloved heartdweller bride that is why I can trust you with something like this. I have called you all to possess the gates of your enemies. Possess the gates of your families, possess the gates of your cities, and when I lead you to possess the gates of your nations. You see a gate in the spiritual world is used for travel, it's used to bring in things and take out things, it's used to bring curses, and used to bring blessings. That is why I said to the King of Cyrus I would use him to take down the gates of iron, and he did by allowing My people the freedom to go and rebuild My temple in Jerusalem.  I destroyed the gatekeepers over that nation at that time, that were hindering any forward progress for my people.

There are gates over families, gates over cities, gates over nations, and gates over regions. It would be good for you to read the book of Judges as you are here to see the many ways I had different kings win territorial battles for Israel. So go and possess this land, it has been given into your hands, open the gates over the cities, the border lines using Psalm 24, using your authority to command Me, the ancient of days, to enter in, conquering the demonic gatekeepers that have been a hindrance to Me and what I want to do in this nation. You are My bride, you are merely partnering with Me, and I will cover you and protect you, but expect relation and do not doubt your prayers little one. Go forth and prepare the way for what I'm going to do.”

That was the end of Jesus' message.

Amen. Family it’s been two weeks since I’ve returned from Ivory Coast, and sure enough the retaliation came. I will share in the messages that are coming forward, but I do want to share a teaching from this message from Pastor James Kawalya concerning possessing the gates. He has some great teachings, and he has given real insight concerning different gates in the spirit. There are gates over families, as Jesus mentioned, over marriages, there are gates over your womb, and there are gatekeepers. Every family has a gatekeeper; there are gatekeepers over the bloodline of your family, and there are those who use it for wicked intent. So we wanna pray whether it's generational curses or generational cycles in your family, then there most likely is a gatekeeper of your bloodline that is feeding the altar that is causing these generational curses in your family.

Whether it’s an area of marriage, addiction, or whatever it may be. But God is calling us guys to now be the gatekeepers; He is giving us the authority to be the gatekeepers over your bloodline, over your family, and that is by your prayers. Your prayers become that altar that fights any demonic altar in your family, that is being used by any evil gatekeeper that is allowing these curses and generational evil cycles to continue in your family, and you are able to combat them like I said; by prayer.

Pastor James Kawalya has so many more great teachings concerning that, and the next follow-up message I will teach on what He’s taught on, or share the teaching that he taught concerning possessing the gates.
