Prayer Day 28 Her 28th son: Prayer Against A Spirit Of Suicide

Family, I approached this subject with great caution as the statistics show that the second leading cause of death for people under the age of 24 is suicide. Two years ago, I had the pleasure of spending two months on the mountain in Taos, getting to know the people there. At least once a week, a team of Heart dwellers went down to the local town to evangelize and tell the local community about Christ.
On my very first trip downtown, a couple of women approached us and began talking about the deaths of their grandsons who died in a suicide pack with other youths. If I remember correctly, they were somewhere around the age of 12. It is hard to imagine youngsters getting together and agreeing to die in a pact. While I don’t know the details or the reasons that pushed them to that tragic conclusion, I do know, as many of us have heard through Mother Clare, that entire area is filled with witch covens. And the main goal of the enemy is to destroy the children of God…the younger the better.
Knowing how to approach a child or adult with this their mind as the perfect solution to whatever is going on in their lives, can be very delicate and can require professionals. But for our purposes, we will explore what the Bible says about suicide and how it relates to the spirits of Jezebel’s sons…shall we?
While the Bible does not specifically address suicide, it does speak clearly about the importance of life to Our Creator.
For example:
Genesis 1:27 — So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.
Matthew 6:26 — Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap... Are you not of more value than they?
From these few scriptures we can see that human life is most precious to our Lord and Father. Each child is precious to God.
Psalm 139:13–14 You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb… Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
Psalm 127:3 Children are a gift from the Lord; they are a reward from him.
When it comes to the sanctity of life, the Bible is also very clear about murder and the taking of a life. Taking your own life, is still the taking of a life, when that life belongs to God. It is His possession, His treasure, His child, no matter the age.
Genesis 9:6 Whoever sheds the blood of man, by man shall his blood be shed, for God made man in his own image.
Of the ten Commandments of God, number 5 is, “You shall not kill.” Even killing the unborn is a punishable crime according to Exodus 21:22–23.
While this is not a comprehensive list of scriptures, I think we can all agree that life is precious in the eyes of the Lord, and anyone who takes a life will be judged. For those who believe that with suicide, there are no further consequences, remember that it is after death that we must face the judgment seat of God; and will likely end up in eternal torment; meaning that the torment you thought you were escaping here on earth, will be your portion for eternity.
So, these are reasons why we should place great value on human life. But, as aforementioned, suicides across the globe are on a significant rise. The subject of suicide is most often approached as a mental health issue with the primary tool being psychological analyses. However, an astonishing number of psychology professionals have also become suicide victims. The chaotic condition of the world around us (afar, and as near as our own homes) leading to a sense of despair can play a big role.
We must be willing to look at the spiritual nature, and how this may be the works of one of Jezebels sons, the Spirit of Suicide. We know that it is the enemy of our soul that seeks to steal, kills and destroy the children of God. We also know that our sinful natures and desires can also play a role, as they separate us from God. These can open doors, allowing the influence of demons in our lives.
Open doors and God’s responses:
Suffering from worry, anxiety, depression, fear, a lack of trust in the providence of God…can all be doors opened, giving the enemy license to attack our minds. But stand on God’s Word in all circumstances. We believe God’s word that says;
• Phil. 4:6-8, “…The peace of God will keep our hearts and minds through Christ Jesus”
• Psalm 46:1-3, “God is our safe place... even when the world is shaking.”
• John 6:35, — “I came to the world to be a light. Anyone who puts their trust in Me shall not be in darkness
• Gal. 1:4, “He gave Himself to die for our sins. He did this so we could be saved from this sinful world.”
• 1 Peter 4:12,13, Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery trial… But rejoice insofar as you share Christ’s sufferings, that you may also rejoice and be glad…
• Isaiah 4-:31 …but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength...
• III John 2 Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.
• Psalm 37:10 In just a little while, the wicked will be no more; though you look carefully at his place, he will not be there.
• Luke 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.”
• Prov. 28:20 A faithful man will abound with blessings, but whoever hastens to be rich will not go unpunished.
Prayer:
Father, when we feel overwhelmed by the weight of the world and find ourselves contemplating a way out of all our troubles to be the ending our lives, please help us to remember that we have enormous value in Your eyes and You have promised never to leave us nor forsake us. May we lean to turn towards You in times of trouble, and not away.
Lord, as the enemy of our soul screams, “You have no money, how will you feed your family?” or “Things never go well for you, you may as well give up” or “Your family would be better off without you” or “You will never get ahead, you are a complete failure”, please silence the tormenting voices and sever the chords and projections of the wicked lying spirits. It is written, no weapon formed against us shall prosper and all tongues that rise against are condemned. Help us to hear only Your Word, and no other voice will we follow. To You and You alone will we pay heed. Your word declares, and we repeat:
• When I pass through waters, You will be with me. (Isaiah 43:2)
• Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5)
• When the righteous cry for help, the LORD hears and delivers us out of all our troubles. (Psalm 34:17) .
• The young lions suffer want and hunger; but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing (Psalm 34:10) .
• The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)
• “Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the LORD; “I will place him in the safety for which he longs.” (Psalm 12:5)
Prayer of Deliverance from Suicidal Thoughts
Heavenly Father, I am in the grip of a battle where the temptation of suicide seems like a way to end my suffering. In this hour of temptation, deliver me from these thoughts and the lies that fuel them.
Help me to see the value of my life through Your eyes, to understand that I am precious in Your sight, and that suicide is not the path You desire for me.
I pray for Your protection against these suicidal thoughts and the spirit of despair that accompanies them. Surround me with Your love and light, and let the hope of Your salvation be a shield around my mind and heart, guarding me against thoughts of suicide.
• Psalm 91:11 For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
• 2 Corinthians 10:5 We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Chris

Repentance:
• Father, please forgive us for failing to trust that you will always be the fourth man in the fire with us in times of trouble. (Dan 3:5)
• Father, forgive us for contemplating the destruction of that which is so very dear to You, the bodies which You breathed Your very own life into, rather than seeking you and trusting that You will lift us out of the miry pit and set our feet upon a rock. (Psalm 40:1)
• Father, forgive us for losing hope in You. (Psalm 42:11)
Father, please help us to remember Your everlasting promises to us:

• Hebrews 13:5 Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Father, help us remember to trust in Your faithfulness:

• Titus 3:5 …he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
