Prayer Day 33 Her 33rd son: Prayer Against A Spirit Of Vanity

"Turn away my eyes from beholding vanity, and quicken me in your way!"Psalm 119:37

God Hear Our Prayer:

Dear Heavenly Father, as you search our hearts remove all vanity. Please remove all source of distraction. Convict us of the vain things in our lives which is all passing. I come before your throne of Grace and Mercy this day.  I come, Lord God, just to experience your presence.  It is in your presence that I long to stay.  I am safe from all danger when I am with you, Lord.

There are so many things that we look upon with our natural eyes and mind and we marvel at the wonder of it all not realizing its spiritual significance. Help us Lord to understand the vanity in our own lives. Seeing the world through your eyes, Father, created idols of our selves, idols of images, things, status and accumulation and accomplishments which are all vanities.

We have had impure motives in how we present ourselves, in how we dress and how we look and many times been consumed by it. This spirit of vanity has taken a hold of this generation like never before where many live for likes, subscribes and to go viral all for the sake of vanity.

Lord how quickly we forget that although King Solomon was the richest and wisest man among all creation at the end of his life His cries where , “Vanity of Vanities, all is Vanity.” Oh God we have lost site of the eternal perspective and what really matters.

Nations have killed and started wars because of vanity, Father forgive them. Families have been torn apart through jealousy, envy, and division because of vanity. Marriages have been broken, distorted, and destroyed all because of vanity. People have committed suicide, sucked into competition, low self esteem, promiscuity, vain imaginations, comparisons and discontentment because of vanity. Father forgive them, forgive us all.

We have taken our eyes of You, Your Kingdom, Our Heavenly Home and turned it in ourselves and all that is being destroyed by the moths and kancerworm . It’s what is eternal that will bring us joy everlasting

So we now take authority over you, son of Jezebel vanity we bind you in the monthly named of Jesus. We destroy your works and assignments off our families, off this generation and off our nations in the mighty name of Jesus. We destroy your hold you have over all forms of media using it to manipulate and plant vain thoughts, ideas and instructions in the hearts and the minds of God people.

Let us be discerning Lord and let us check our motives and be willing to truly let go of the vanities of this life. We cast you OUT now you spirit of vanity and we decree all that you have distorted in the minds of Gods people be reconciled and restored to the mind, thoughts and the image of Christ now in the mighty name of Jesus!

I decree and declare the nations, this generation, our bloodline and families would be free from this inquity of vanity and starting with us, your brides, we would walk in the personal conviction of simplicity and holiness that by our lifestyle, the way we dress, live and what we pursue would be a witness to the world that we are dead to it and living for the eternal. Father please help us in this, in the mighty name of Jesus we pray amen.
