Prayer Day 53 Her 53rd son: Prayer Against A Spirit Of Cowardice

Heavenly Father, you have not given us a spirit of cowardice, timidity and fear, but one of power and of love and of a sound mind, to act and endure for your glory and Yours alone. Therefore this day we come asking for your forgiveness upon our nation, this generation, all Heartdwellers and even those of our own household, for shrinking and retreating in the face of opposition, for allowing fear to rule over us.

Because of our Cowardice we fail to oppose evil laws and practices though we were given the opportunity to make an appeal or vote righteously, oh Lord forgive us for consciously shying away from unpleasant situations, doing whatever we can to save our own skin, enslaving ourselves to fear that rules our decisions, fearing people more than God, compromising obedience and even making excuses as we spiritualize our disobedience, denying Christ, forgive us Father.

As we stand before Your throne of grace, bearing bearing our shackled hands, we are making an appeal through the blood of your Son Jesus Christ, asking to please redeem us, redeem our lives from the spirit of cowardice, redeem our ministries, redeem our nation Father, in the name of Jesus Christ. We denounce and renounce cowardice, and by the power and authority we bind you, and we declare that we will no longer compromise, we will no longer bow in fear because of your intimidations and dread of persecutions, we will not stay quiet, we will no longer stay silent, but we are declaring demise in the authority of Jesus’s Name.

We will be strong and courageous because the Lord our God goes with us. We are sons and daughters and with this authority we bind you, spirit of cowardice and slavery, we bind your disgusting demon dogs to you that came to do your biding in our generation and nation. For the Lord is our light and salvation; whom shall we fear? Even if armies encamp, we will not fear, for we trust in the Lord. Fill us afresh Lord with renewed strength, love and Power, silencing every voice bringing thoughts of failure and fear of rejection, taking them captive to forcefully obey Christ.

We are not ashamed, we are not weak, we do not subscribe any longer to the notion of a weak flesh, because our spirit is one of power. Holy Spirit, fill us with Your power to act, Your love that casts out fear, and Your self-controlled, sound mind. Teach and make us to abide in Your strength and courage, because you are always with us. Help us to stand firm, confess Christ openly, and obey You even when it costs. Let cowardice have no place in our lives. In Jesus’ name, amen.”
