Often times when trials come, when storms hit us, when our faith is shaken by an unforeseen circumstance, many times we hide our pain, close ourselves off to others and wear a mask as if everything is alright. And many times, we even hide our emotions from Jesus, the one who knows us the most. You see, tears are a gift from him, it is a healing balm that can cleanse our hearts when were really honest with God about how we feel. He is not at all ashamed of your weakness nor despises your tears, he is there to catch everyone single tear so sometimes you just have to cry.
~JUST LET ME CRY Hilary Weeks
I believe that everything happens for a reason We’re not just tossed by the wind or left in the hands of fate But sometimes life sends a storm that’s unexpected And we’re forced to face our deepest pain When I feel the heartache begin to pull me under I dig my heels in deep and I fight to keep my ground Still at times the hurt inside grows stronger And there’s nothing I can do but let it out
Just let me cry I know it’s hard to see But the pain I feel Isn’t going away today Just let me cry Till every tear has fallen Don’t ask when and don’t ask why
Just let me cry
When I agreed that God could put this heart inside me I understood that there would be a chance that it would break
But I know He knows exactly how I’m feeling And I know in time He’ll take the pain away But for now Just let me cry I know it’s hard to see But the pain I feel Isn’t going away today Just let me cry Till every tear has fallen Don’t ask when and don’t ask why
Just let me cry
I have felt joy the kind that makes my heart want to sing
And so, my tears are not a surrender I know I feel that way again But for now For this moment Just let me cry I know it’s hard to see But the pain I feel Isn’t going away today Just let me cry Till every tear has fallen Don’t ask when and don’t ask why
Just let me cry
I believe that everything happens for a reason

When you are finally done crying it out then it’s time to be gut honest with the Lord. He is your Maker, Your Father and Your spouse. Tell him your struggles, your frustrations, and even the pain in your heart you may feel towards him. Like a loving Father he is there, he hears you and he understands. And then be still and know that He is God.
~BE STILL Hilary Weeks
Another day I’ll try again But can you tell me Will the hurting ever end? I’ve been taught And I believe But it’s been awhile Since I’ve been on my knees But I need you by my side I don’t have the strength To make it on my own And Lord, do you hear my prayer How soon will you answer me? I know you’re weary I know you’ve had all you can bear And now you ask of me on bended knee
I promise I’ll be there I’ve watched you struggle Yet I can see how much you’ve grown Child, could you feel my power in your darkest hour?
You were not alone Be still and know that I am God I’m by your side Whom shall you fear I’ll give you strength my child
I am here
Be still and know that I am God And there’s no prayer That I don’t hear Lift up your head My child I am here ~
In this walk of intimacy with the Lord you cannot escape the cross for it’s in the cross, in suffering where we actually come to love him more and more and love ourselves less. You must see the hand of God in his divine kisses and his divine blows. It’s all from him when he permits and allows trials in your life. There will be many times you are left utterly speechless, in confusion and lack of understanding of what the Lord is allowing and you must learn to resign yourself and say, [sigh] Jesus I don’t understand this but if you want it then I want it too and trust His heart when you cannot understand his ways
~If You Want Me Too Ginny Owens
The pathway is broken, and the signs are unclear And I don’t know the reasons why You brought me here But just because You love me the way that You do I’m gonna walk through the valley If You want me to
No, I’m not who I was when I took my first step And I’m clingin’ to the promise You’re not through with me yet So, if all of these trials bring me closer to You Then I will walk through the fire If You want me to
It may not be the way I would have chosen When You lead me through a world that’s not my home
But You never said it would be easy You only said I’d never go alone
Yeah-yeah
So, when the whole world turns against me
And I’m all by myself And I can’t hear You answer my
Cries for help
I’ll remember the suffering that Your love put You through
And I will walk through the darkness
If You want me to
‘Cause when I cross over Jordan Gonna sing and I’m gonna shout I’m gonna look into Your eyes And see You never let me down So, take me on the pathway That leads me home to You And I will walk through the valley If You want me to Yes, I will walk through the valley If You want me to ~
You can always trust that you are in the palm of the Fathers hands even in the most painful trials, you are not alone, and you are not even walking but he is carrying you through it.
~He Will Carry You Hilary Weeks
He knows your heart He knows your pain He knows the strength it took Just too simply breathe today … He sees the tears That you cry He knows your soul is aching To know why … He hears your prayers Each humble word When you said you couldn’t face Another day, He understood … He knows the path When you walk like
Though you felt alone He’s never left your side … He knew there’d be moments
When no earthly words could take away your sorrow And no human eyes could see what you’re going through When you’ve taken your last step and done all that you can do
He will lift your heavy load and carry you … He’ll bring you peace and leave you hope And in the darkest night, He’ll comfort you Until you know the sun will rise and each new day You will have the strength to live again
… And in the moments
When no earthly words can take away your sorrow And no human eyes could see what you’re going through When you’ve taken your last step and done all that you can do
He will lift your heavy load and carry you … He hears you when you’re crying in the night He hears you when your soul longs to find ‘Til the morning will come And the light of the dawn reassures … That in the moments
When no earthly words can take away your sorrow And no human eyes could see what you’re going through When you’ve taken your last step and done all that you can do
He will lift your heavy load and carry you

And when the enemy comes to still your joy what he is trying to do is really steal your praise which is a powerful weapon. Like David sing your way through the storm and if you can’t ask the Lord for this grace…sing.
~I WILL SING Kari Jobe
I need to see You here I need to know You’re in control Though my heart is torn wide open I will trust, I will remember I need to hear Your voice Speaking to silence all my doubts Your word won’t return empty You will break through every darkness Even when my breath is weak I will sing, I will sing Even in my suffering I will sing, I will sing I need to feel Your hope Rising above my greatest fears Even death has been defeated I will trust, I will remember Even when the shadows fall I will sing, I will sing Even when the night is long I will sing, I will sing Hallelujah I surrender all to You Hallelujah
You are God, You won’t be shaken
Hallelujah I surrender all to You Hallelujah
You are God, You won’t be shaken I need to see You here I need to know You’re in control Though my heart is torn wide open I will trust, I will remember

Now, have you seen the light? Do you now see how he has been with you in your suffering, in your trial and here to comfort and console you through it. So don’t be ashamed come to him.
~I SEE THE LIGHT Kalley
I see the Light I’m your delight You chose me I’ve seen the Light I’ve seen the Light Yea
Shame told me otherwise
Said that You’re mad that I can’t change Your mind no matter how hard I try
Shame told me otherwise But I don’t listen to lies now I don’t listen to lies now And they’re falling aside now Cause I’ve seen the Light You’re on my side You’re for me And I’ve seen the Light I am Your prize You’ve chose me And I’ve seen the Light And I’m Your delight You love me And I’ve seen the Light
You’ll be with pride when You look upon me
And I’ve seen the Light He’s on our side He’s for us And I’ve seen the Light
He’s full of pride when He looks on me Because He loves me He loves me He loves me I know He loves me He loves me He loves me Oh, I know He is for me He is for me He is for me And I’ve seen the Light And I believe it now Beyond a shadow of a doubt That You love me, that You love me I’ve seen the Light I’ve seen the Light ~
Run in his love, stay in his love, receive his love that is constant, faithful, it is all yours and it is unshakable
~Unshakable love Nicole Binion
Nothing can separate me From a Love so pure, so true When I am lost and alone I can find myself in You Find myself in You
Even from a distance Your eyes are always just There’s no place I can run to Nowhere I can hide With Darkness all around me I thought I’d lost my way Then You reached out And rescued me Forever I will say Nothing can separate me From a Love so pure, so true When I am lost and alone I can find myself in You Find myself in You Find myself in You I am all Yours All Yours Your unshakable love Has captured my heart And I’m Yours All Yours Oh Lord I am all Yours All Yours Your unshakable love Has captured my heart And I’m Yours All Yours Oh Lord Nothing can separate me From a Love so pure, so true, Oh yes, When I am lost and alone I can find myself in You
Find myself in You Find myself in You Oh Lord, Find myself in You Oh, Lord, Oh Lord, find myself in you Oh Lord, find myself in You

Romans 8:38 – 39, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, [a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.“

Don’t stop, don’t give up, and don’t quit, God needs you, we need you, the world needs the light of God in you. Don’t give up.

TD Jakes – Defying the Urge to Quit – Part 2 (excerpt)
Don’t you give up on your dream. I don’t care if you don’t have the money, you don’t have the help, and you don’t have the family for it, and you don’t have the background for it, and you don’t have the friends for it—don’t you give up on your dream, don’t you do it. Don’t you do it, don’t you do it. It may take you twice as long, you may have to take courses and classes, you might not read as fast, you might not move as quick, you might not have as much, but don’t you quit, don’t you quit, don’t you quit. You do make a difference, you do make a difference, you do make a difference. As weak as you are, as tired as you are, as many mistakes as you have made—you do make a difference. There is something they would lose if you were not there. There is something that they would miss if you were not there. You do make a difference, you do make a difference, you do make a difference. Keep hopping. It’s for people that are trying to hop their way back home come hell or high water, doing the best they can with what they’ve got.
That’s who we are, doing the best we can with what we’ve got. And we may not break any ribbons, and we may not get any trophies, but if we can learn how to hang on in there, we’ll be alright. I will not lie to you, I feel like going on—but I have seen days I did not want to get out of the bed, didn’t want to put on clothes, and didn’t even fell like brushing my teeth. I’ve seen days so dark that I just wanted to keep driving and I didn’t care where I ended up or what you called me. They came, and they passed, and they came to pass. I kept the faith, I kept it. I lost a lot of stuff, I lost a lot of friends, I lost a lot of strength, I lost a lot of courage, I lost a lot of time, I lost a lot of money, but I kept down on my knees, I was still believing. Broke I was believing, lonely I was believing, betrayed I was… If you lose a job, keep the faith; if you lose a spouse, keep the faith; if you bury your child, keep the faith; if you have to downsize, keep the faith; if you have to move in with your mama, keep the faith; if you’re at your wits end, keep the faith; if you have to take the bus, keep the faith; if you have to thumb [for a ride] keep the faith; if you get sick, keep the faith; if you lose your kidney, keep the faith; if you’ve got heart troubles, keep the faith; you might not get a new heart; but you’ve got to keep your faith!
