Deliverance, I Peel Back, To Address, To Cut And To Heal

There is so much on my mind and my heart—and my heart and mind are in two different places. Please align them, Lord.

Jesus, what’s on your heart? Help me to hear you clearly today.

Jesus began,

“To keep your heart and mind aligned means to fix your gaze upon Me. Not just fix your eyes—but your gaze, Beloved. That involves all your senses—your desire, your will, and your eyes”, He said, smiling. “I know it has been a couple of rough days for you. I am so sorry about all that you have had to endure but continue to lean on Me and we will get through this. Healing and delivering a soul is a long process, Beloved. There are many factors that must take place, and it is done in layers.

“I am choosing to work that way in this soul because when I take My time, slowly, with deliverance I am doing a deep foundational work. So much is learned and so much is acquired by the soul I take in this direction. You see, He soon will be a teacher and be used to deliver so many. So, he has to go deep, addressing things he has been running from and coming face to face with who he really is without My grace, and that, indeed, I am the only remedy. Intimacy—a relationship with Me is the sole remedy that sustains someone’s deliverance for a long time. And we are getting there. We are rather close than you think but there is still much ahead to learn and to peel back, to address, to cut and to heal.

“So, trust the journey, trust the process, Beloved. Truly it will be worth it once it’s all done. You will see and thank Me profusely, Him as well.”

That was the end of Jesus’ message.

I am dealing with a soul that has much trauma from childhood that has been buried, but the fruit of the trauma is showing up in his personal life now and really affecting it. Many times, as a Christian, the Lord can choose to deliver a soul from a bad habit or spiritual bondage from something right away and many times he does. Other times He does the process very slowly. Layer by layer, trauma by trauma, and with each step of confession the soul gets a little more freedom from the bondage he is in. There are many of my brothers and sisters who were on the mountain with me who struggled with various things and so desperately wanted to be free once and for all. But it didn’t happen that way for them.

Just as the Lord mentioned, and I believe, if he allows a soul to carry the struggle and temptation of a habit they want to be delivered from but yet have not, there is a reason. The Lord is first teaching the soul humility and lowliness, to embrace their misery. Many times, he is maturing them in his mercy and teaching them to be trained to bring deliverance to others once theirs finally comes. Lastly, it also increases one’s faith. Anytime you have to wait on anything from the Lord you are rewarded as an account of righteousness and your measure of faith grows. Oh Lord, help us to remember that when dealing with souls and when waiting on our own deliverance. God bless you family continue to pray for us
