Prayer Day 69 Her 69th son: Prayer Against A Spirit Of Stubborness

Father God, in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth,we come before You humbly, clothed in the righteousness of Christ alone. We acknowledge You as King of kings and Lord of lords. We submit ourselves fully to the authority of Your Word and Your Spirit.  Holy Spirit, search us now, reveal anystubbornness in every form, whether it is in pride, resistance, hardness, or disobedience that would hinder us, Lord in Your mercy deliver us from this wicked spirit.

Father, we renounce, we reject and we repent of this sin quickly and sincerely. Father, we confess and repent on behalf of ourselves, our families and bloodlines, our marriages, our children/children to be, generations to come, Your Church, leadership, governments in our nations and institutions.  For every way the 69th son of Jezebel, stubbornness has manifested as pride, rebellion, resistance to correction, refusal to forgive, control, self-will or hardened hearts, please forgive us.  Help us Lord to humble ourselves and pray, as it is written, “If my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin and will heal their land…” 2 Chronicles 7:14

Father in the name of Jesus, we renounce any agreement with the spirit of stubbornness in thought, attitude/behaviour, culture, leadership, and systems. In the name of Jesus Christ, by the power of His blood and His cross, we come against the spirit of stubbornness,every expression of prideful resistance, every hardness of heart, every refusal to yield to God’s truth and authority. “Rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry.” 1 Samuel 15:23.  

Father, Job 22:28 states we shall decree a thing and it shall be established for light to shine on all our ways, therefore, we decree and declare, stubbornness is not our inheritance, rebellion is not our portion, and pride has no legal right in us, our families, our nations, our governments, our children, our loved ones and Your Church.  Lord, we break every agreement conscious or unconscious with the spirit of stubbornness operating through manipulation, control, intimidation, silence, or deception.  

Father in the name of Jesus, we renounce, generational stubbornness, cultural stubbornness, religious stubbornness, leadership stubbornness, ideological stubbornness, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4–5, by the authority of Jesus Christ, we pull down every stronghold of pride, we cast down every argument raised against the knowledge of God and we command hardened hearts to be softened now in Jesus mighty name.
