Holy Spirit, Our Best Friend

I pulled this Rhema this morning. The title was ;

“Friendship”.

A faithful friend is a sturdy shelter where one finds a treasure. A faithful friend is beyond price, no sum can balance his/her worth. A faithful friend is a life-saving remedy, such as he who fears God finds, For he who fears God behaves accordingly and his friend will be like himself.

Then a song about the Holy Spirit being our friend began to play and I knew it was about him. So after I came into prayer, I came before Him.

Hello, Holy Spirit, My best friend, how are you? What’s on your heart, Lord?

Holy Spirit began,

“My perceptible presence is all around you and envelopes you, My beloved dear daughter. You indeed have the King’s Heart, and that is My heart. I want you to fear nothing. With Me by your side, dwelling in you, we will get through the storms of life as you transform from glory to glory.

“Thank you for your friendship. My love and desire for you is to be more aware of My presence in your day-to-day activities. Not just seeking Me for counsel, but thanking Me as well, and speaking to Me about what concerns you. That is very important to Me. I am so very attentive to the movements of your heart. It is nice to hear you speak your thoughts in your mind. But it’s even nicer when you speak directly to Me, then wait for inspiration, direction, or My still small voice to give you a response and instruction.

“I love to do that, Beloved, but many souls just don’t have time to listen. I am teaching you in this season to listen really well, and to listen very carefully as more and more anointing will be given to you and the brides of Christ. There are so many hurting around you who need a word from God. I, dwelling in you, have the words of eternal life they need. Just one word not only changes a day, but it has a generational impact.

“Think of that one word you received the moment the grace of conversion came.”

As an aside, Holy Spirit is talking about the day I received my first prophetic word. It was a paradigm shift and changed my life just by that one word.

I was running a beauty pageant business that seemed successful on the outside, but I was so empty on the inside. So tired of chasing after success, and dead-end relationships. I had sought the Lord as a young child and always wanted a word. I wanted to know that He heard me, that He was really there. But I never heard anything or got any direction—or so I thought. As my father would say, I was a jack of all trades but a master of none. I couldn’t figure out my life.

A family member came to visit and gave me a word upon her departure, going back home. I remember that day. My family and I were going through some really rough times when she came. There were nine of us cooped up in a small apartment because of cleaning going on at our house. We would go to church every Sunday but there were so many family cycles in our lives—nothing was changing—but getting worse.

She said, “God has not forgotten you. He told me to tell you, you haven’t been forgotten”. I choked up as tears streamed down my eyes because I felt so forgotten by Him. At that moment I realized, “God sees me”. She went on to give instructions that changed the trajectory of my life, and I am here because of that one word.

I am tearing up even writing this and remembering that moment all over again.

Holy Spirit continued,

“I had looked into the future and longed for the moment where eternity would impact your time on earth and that is where the saying goes, where heaven and earth kissed….”

The scripture that came to my mind was;

Psalm 85:10-11

Unfailing love and truth have met together. Righteousness and peace have kissed! Truth springs up from the earth, and righteousness smiles down from heaven.

“…to bring you illumination and enlightenment of God’s love—that He sees you, knows you, and has a plan for you. It changed everything and you were never the same. It was one of the greatest moments for Me, My little one, it truly was. Each moment in a soul’s life who finally finds Me—becomes aware of My presence and responds to grace to give their lives to Jesus—at the moment of their conversion, I have the same euphoric experience. As I sigh, laugh, and sometimes cry with happy tears of another earthen vessel where I can now call home. Although knowing the trials ahead of them and what they face I also know the power I will give them, the grace they will cooperate with, and the many souls their lives will be used to touch and draw nearer to Me.

“There is so much on your mind. Give it all to Me, beloved little one, lay it all down.

“You are right where you need to be, and all things are going as planned. Don’t try to figure it out, your duty is to just pray and know that all will be done. Nothing escapes My mind. No small detail of yours or that of any soul. I know it all. I will help our children find their way as well.

“You all are now going through growing pains, birthing something so beautiful, and majestic that will be of historic and eternal impact not only on this earth but in Heaven. So, it takes time, much patience, and much growing pains. But trust the process. Everything is being used to bring God’s will, promise, and purpose to fulfillment.

“Continue to be faithful with the inspiration and instructions you have been given to do. That goes for you and all the Brides. Be faithful, steadfast. This is the time to work, soon you will see a great harvest before you. I will help you in all things to schedule your time so that you may choose to use your time wisely and yield to the more fruitful opportunities of the day.”

Thank you, sweet Holy Spirit, could you please help this soul gain footing and confidence back in what God is doing in His life? (I’m talking about one of the intercessors I had just gotten off the phone with.

He responded,

“Yes, I’m coming in now to intervene, to help, and support him.”

Thank you “Soul of my soul,” My Lord, My God, and my very best friend.

That was the end of Holy Spirit’s message.
