This morning as I entered into Dwelling Prayer the Lord played a song that was instrumental. It sounded deep, thoughtful and passionate. I opened my eyes, and the title was “Morning Tango”. I smiled because he had played this before, weeks ago, and we danced. I saw Jesus in a black pant suit with a white button up long sleeve shirt with the sleeves rolled up and the last button left opened. And we danced.
As I closed my eyes again, there He was—again, smiling. As we were in a ballroom, that was dark all over besides in the center where we stood. We had a spotlight. He intently looked at me ready to dance again. So we began, He moves so gracefully, and guided each of my steps as I danced like a pro. Our movements were so in sync and so intimate. At one point we were cheek to cheek, stepping as he swayed me from side to side then spun me around. He then held my back firmly and then titled me over and when I came up he had a rose in his mouth. We began to tango moving slowly and seamlessly to the rhythm and melody of the song. He twirled me around then began to clap and do some amazing tap leg moments that I have seen done in tango. I thought, “Wow, he is a good dancer!” Seeing Jesus dance like this—I was amazed.
He then grabbed me again and we began to take over the ballroom floor with our spotlight. At some point I lost myself in his embrace and didn’t care about the posture or the moves, but the reality was that Jesus was holding me He was here with me. I just again wanted to stay there forever. He then looked at me so intensely—He was on a mission to passionately dance this morning—seeming more focused than ever on this morning tango.
I then began to think of men who were his brides and how awkward it may be to have such an experience with the Lord. Then immediately I went into a vision as I was dancing with Jesus. I saw Him and Father God in the same ballroom teaching a man, who was His bride. Rather than Jesus dancing with him He was teaching his him how to dance tango.
Father God was smiling as he watched Jesus who seemed like a very intense passionate teacher—instructing the young man—holding his arms up—going behind him as he held his waist showing him how to move and take each step. It was like He was teaching his male bride through this dance how to love. Tango is a dance of love and passion, as he wanted to relay it to his male bride so he could better love his wife. To see his wife as how Jesus sees her. I thought, “Wow, Lord.”
Then I came to myself still dancing with the Lord and then I could hear Him speak to my heart as we continued dancing.
Lord wow you are so good at tango. I am sure you are good at everything.
Sheepishly He said, “Well I am…the I am”
I laughed, but the tango.
“Yes, Beloved, I love to dance, truly I do. Even My Mother would tell you. I wasn’t born with two left feet”
Let me guess, rather two perfect feet?
He laughed
“Well, I also had to be taught. My mother is a great dancer, too, you know.”
Wow Lord I didnt know that.
“I love variety and I love all types of dance, but most importantly I love dancing with My bride. I miss that so much, My little one. You have been too engrossed in the world and consumed with the trials and heaviness of life. You and all My brides. I am calling each of you back in the bridal chambers for some time. You need it and I need, the battle has worn many of you but it’s in this time of trysting that so much happens to your heart, to your spirit and to your love for Me. I transfer so much to you when we dance together. It allows you to be free, by passing your mind, your worries, and lift you from your heaviness. That is why David danced. He knew the secret to true breakthrough, liberation and freedom from the cares of life is by dancing. He loved to dance because He knew I loved to dance. We danced often together in the fields in the wilderness. Oh, how we danced. Anytime a bride dances in worship or in celebration for who I am all the angels join you too. It’s a form and act of worship.”
2 Samuel 6:14-22 AMPC
And David danced before the Lord with all his might, clad in a linen ephod [a priest’s upper garment]. So, David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
There is much dancing in Heaven, My beloved brides and there no one will keep their two left feet (he said it smiling)
You will dance as if you have been a professional for years, with so much ease, gracefulness and skill. You will dance—we will dance and enjoy ourselves. But you don’t have to wait until then, come now. Each morning, My beloved little ones I want you to join me in one dance. You can allow me to choose the song, or you can pick the song of your choice each morning. The first thing I want you to do is to dance with me. This is an invitation for all. All are invited and I will be there if you respond. Use the eyes of your heart to see me, picture what it is, you want me to wear, and I will wear it and picture what you want to wear and it will be on you.
I immediately saw myself in a beautiful red dress with a flared long skirt with read feathers. My hair was slicked back in a bun and a beautiful red jewelled hair pin was in my hair—and Jesus and I danced!
Lord, may I asked what about hip hop moves and African moves—truly do you dance it all? Because you have played so many fun songs in the past I never thought you would play during our soaking time some even secular and I really enjoyed myself with you.
Jesus responded,
“Many see Me far too uptight than I really am. Yes, there are some songs that grieve My spirit because I know the influence behind them. I know the incantations that were spoken over the song to gain traction and popularity for the artist to honor Satan. And it’s those songs that you, too, will feel uneasy or uncomfortable to listen to. If My spirit dwells in you, you will lose your peace. However, there are many secular songs, Beloved that I like and that I use to minister to people, My love, and draw them to myself eventually. Like the Happy song”
From Despicable Me, movie Lord?
“Yes. I really like that song, get me in a—hmm—happy mood”.
Lol Lord you again seem so
“Human..” (smiling)
Yes, wow I haven’t seen this side of you in a long time.
“Because you haven’t given Me an opportunity, Beloved, and much has been going on in the world that has caused My brides to become so weary and discouraged . They need to be revived a little. You need it too, Beloved. Don’t you feel a difference in your heart?”
I do Lord much lighter and I can’t stop smiling while writing this, Thank you Jesus.
“Sure, My beloved one, so I don’t want you to become legalist or so religious about the music I play at times and allow My brides to listen to. Remember the Father loves those who worship Him in spirit and in truth. What is the spirit behind the music that is what matters. There are some secular songs inspired by My spirit and when you listen long enough you will see and even fill it. It leaves you with peace, joy, and even happiness. I am not encouraging those who have left listing to secular music to go back to it I am just bringing to mind not to be so legalist or religious about it. However, continue using songs that speak of Me, that speak directly to me and allow me to minister to you. I do want to dance with you, My brides so I will wait each morning for you to avail yourself. I will be ready for you, My beloved brides.?
As an aside there are wonderful Christian artists now in almost all genres of music So if you love hip hop dancing there are wonderful Christian artists you can add on your play list. The same with afro beat. So, it’s still glorifying the Lord but in that particular genre that you can use to dance with Jesus.
Jesus continued,
“I am calling all My brides to enter into the bridal chambers and let’s dance your mornings away which will, in turn, dance your worries, your doubts, your fears your insecurities and your condemnation away.
That was the end of Jesus fun message!
