One Takes 1,000 to Flight and Two 10,000

Good morning, Lord. I am here Holy Spirit, help me to listen intently.

Jesus, what’s on your heart?

Jesus began,

“Be still and know that I am God. My beloved little one and I am in control of all things. Worrying does you no good but causes great anxiety for things that I already have taken care of. There are many blessings in the pipeline for you. So be steady, faithful, and full of praise.

“I brought up the readings concerning your beloved because I want you to be more attentive to his needs. Do not treat him as you treat yourself. Just as those who come poor before you, in need of your assistance, you jump to their aid. I want you to do the same with him. From time to time ask what he needs. I have made provision available, not just for ministry, but to meet his needs. And that bless Me, when he is blessed, and taken care of in this way.

As an aside, the Lord has given me scriptures on laziness and hospitality. I just could not discern what He was talking about—until I finally discerned it was about— personal things. The Lord was making it clear that many times I put myself last — or try my best to when it comes to needs—when it comes to holy poverty. And I kind of tend to do that with my beloved, here too…just putting any needs he may have to the side because the poor are in need, or someone else needs help. And he mentioned that once or twice about feeling that way. And in my mind, I was thinking, oh, we’re in ministry, this is just normal as I put myself last. I don’t purchase anything for myself or buy anything. You know, he—he should think the same… And the Lord is saying, no, that’s not what he wants. He doesn’t think that way and I need to really come to his assistance and take care of any need that he has, right away. I never saw it that way, so, I was humbled.

“Don’t worry, a time will come when he will be a tremendous blessing financially. “He will also put himself last, and others first. But for now, I want to honor him in this way, for it honors Me. He has been burdened with much. Continue to pray for him. It would be good for you guys to pray together before Me this evening. Praying in the spirit and praying for one another. There have been many curses sent your way. Some have landed and some are awaiting the opportunity. I will be a shield to continuously protect you two. If you would pray together this will diffuse all disagreements and misunderstandings quickly.

“Do not concern yourself with lack of provision, more is on the way. Everyone’s needs will be met at the appropriate time. Do not shorten your hand because of it. But it would be wise to put down who is a priority. As the provision comes, take care of their needs. This is causing those whom you support to put greater trust in Me and in prayer.”

Another aside, here He’s talking about donations which have decreased tremendously—more than 50%. We help about 50-plus people every month. We have only been able to help about 20%. I was thinking, okay, well, maybe we just cut everyone’s donations in half right now, because we just don’t have the means to support everyone anymore. Here, the Lord is saying, no, don’t shorten our hands—provision would come.

Sorry, Lord. Forgive me. I feel disheartened inside.

Jesus continued,

“Don’t be, Beloved, there is so much blessing and breakthrough around the corner. What you also sensed was true upon your visit to officiate that soul’s wedding. It would be best for you to stay. Your beloved will soon follow you.

“This is a sacrifice I am asking of you but most necessary. Do not think of it too much, be in the moment and as things unfold more peace will be given to you. For now, be faithful with all the work I have entrusted to you. I am pruning the group and although it’s uncomfortable for some and brings a level of uncertainty for others this is so that you might all bear greater fruit. Those I have called to step down to be with Me are on a sabbatical—I do not want them completely disconnected from the group. But this is a great time where much grace will be given to go much deeper with Me. If they cooperate and give much more of their time in dwelling prayer and adoration, I will do a work in their soul. “

As an aside guys, the Lord has really been pruning the intercessory group. I got a reading from the book “Jesus CEO” where Jesus called to question everyone as to the reason they were in the group and what they wanted God to do for them. The Lord is calling us much deeper in discipline and commitment. But most importantly He wants everyone to have a fire in prayer at their own altar. Some were only getting their prayer time with the group but not going much deeper with Jesus. Others were just consumed with their own affairs so couldn’t stand in to intercede as they should. So, there are a few who are taking a season off to be with the Lord and rekindle their fire. So, we have dwindled to a few in number, but I know the Lord will continue to move. Please pray for the group, and family we would appreciate it.

Jesus continued,

“For those who continue to pray, do not be disheartened about the number. Remember, one takes 1,0000 to flight, and two take 10,000. Deuteronomy 32:30

Here Jesus is speaking about when believers get together to pray. Just one Christian in prayer can put 1,000 of the enemies to flight but two chase away 10,000. Bible Gateway gave me two scriptures with this reference. The other is,

Joshua 23:10

The LORD has driven out great and powerful nations before you, and to this day no one can stand against you. 10 One of you can put a thousand to flight, because the LORD your God fights for you, just as He promises. 11Therefore, watch yourselves carefully, that you love the LORD your God.

“That means with each number of people, it increases by 10,000. All you need is one angel working on your behalf to bring your prayers up like incense and to fight your battle, Revelations 8:3. You alone have 1,000 when you pray and with another, it’s multiplied by 10,000 and your prayers become that much more effective. So, it’s never about the numbers for Me, but it’s about the heart. The more refined and knitted you become, as I work on the others. In time they will be ready to return with a reliance and a fire that cannot be broken. So, My beloved brides, thank Me for this time I am taking you into.

“Those who have to work and pray corporately and those I am asking to work with My spirit and pray privately will be united in the spirit, I assure you. There is a great harvest, and it is even here now as we speak. You will reap so much fruit you won’t be able to contain, in time. But for now, it’s time for refining, purifying, and training. You are doing a wonderful job mothering and leading the group. Continue on, My beloved little one. And stay faithful. My brides, this is only the beginning.”

That was the end of Jesus’ message.

True to His word, donations started coming in right before I posted this message. We were at our lowest, I think about 15 dollars in our account and still have a backlog of owing so many whom we support and hadn’t received donations this month and the City of God GoFundMe project hadn’t picked up. It seemed we didn’t have enough to start anything after we had to pay for a big purchase for the farm. But provision came just like Jesus said. We still need much more to reach our goal, but we have enough to take the first step. So, thank you so much for all who have donated.
