Prayer...I Can Do It

Hello family, greetings in Jesus' name.
I was in prayer, in a group praying for a few different things. I realised I was unable to pray in tongues. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't pray. Suddenly I realised I was opposed in prayer. I'm getting opposition in prayer. Many times we live by feelings and allow our feelings to overtake us when we pray. We either pray when we feel like praying or we pray under the guise of needing to pray.
Family, that's not prayer. It's a demand rising in us to pray. So prayer needs to be devoid of emotions, praying in spirit. Pray in spirit; that's the proper way to pray. When we pray in our desires, in our ways, the enemy cancels our prayers, hindering us in praying effectively. Pray in tongues, pray in knowing the enemy plans to hinder you by bringing desires like harassing you in mind, bringing lustful images or distractions, checking your phone, playing lustful videos or movies, or any undesirable passions like worldly pursuits, gardening, household demands, or projects. These keep us engaged in prayer.Then there are spiritual attacks, weariness, fatigue, sickness, guilt, and feeling incapable because the enemy lies to us, we are hopeless and good for nothing.
These are the attacks of the enemy to demoralise you. In fact, the Lord himself left in isolated places to pray. The Bible said the people pressed on to Him, yet He separated himself and prayed. Prayer requires concentration, shutting down the world and steady our hearts to the will of the Lord. When we fight in prayer against all odds, flesh, distractions and leap unto the Lord, he lifts us upward in prayer.I was experiencing all these dramas in prayer; suddenly I felt inside to focus on prayer and unto the Lord. The Lord is not annoyed by our struggles. In fact, He is there to help us. It is when we give up halfway and don't try and persevere through that’s when we lose. As I realised it, the Lord began to speak,
“My daughter, what you felt is true. Feelings. Mostly it’s by feelings. Many give up because they don't like it. They don't want to pursue, and they don't heed and keep in complacency. Yet, I have educated to many. Don't give in to feelings. Give to Me, My world, My life. I can do it, and trust. Your will doesn't allow you to go higher with Me. I can if you crucify your flesh and come giving all to Me. I trust you to take this and spread it to all. Mention your feelings in prayer, and you know now how to counteract them. Trust is the only way. My daughter loves me and nothing else. I want all your time, your life, your ways in Me, My desires, My will. I love you. I'm coming to redeem all of you, all those who suffer with many. This is a season I'm taking. Love and trust.”That was the end of the Lord Jesus' message. Be a blessed family and persevere in prayer.
