Prayer to Forefront

Hello family, greetings in Jesus’ name.

Two days back, I was in adoration, and I felt prompted to pick a reading from a book called “Unless We Pray”. This book was presented to me by a missionary friend and it’s a wonderful book. And the author of this book is a pastor, Todd Smith. He had a wonderful encounter with the Lord after a dull and lacklustre ministry. As he began to seek the Lord, he realized for revival in the church, he found prayer the secret weapon to ignite the revival.

The Lord made me open from the chapter called, “Urgency”. It says, “Urgent: the word comes from the Latin word, to urge. It means an event is occurring that is so compelling it requires immediate action. An example was Martin Luther King Jr. who was fighting against racial inequality.

He was scheduled to speak at an event against racism on August 28, 1963. There was a massive rally, and all were ready to hear the words of hope. So, he delivered a famous speech. “I Have a Dream”. And further, with fervency and passion, he said the words, “We have come to this hallowed spot to remind America of the fears of urgency now”. This speech moved the nation of America and was a catalyst for the signing of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965.

I understood. The Lord is teaching me about the urgency of prayer at this point. As I finished reading, the Lord began to speak.

“Dear one, the reading I gave you is important. I want many to buy this book and read how prayer changes things. That’s what I am doing now. Bringing prayer to the forefront. Prayer will be essential to you and others who are carrying My Name. My dear ones, I am calling you to pray passionately for the salvation of souls. Martin Luther King Jr. raised a speech that put America into action.

“He called for urgency, requiring immediate action. He took feminism into arrest and demoted many rationalist agendas, at the time when inequality came, he was the one who fought ferociously through prayer. I am calling you to pray passionately for the salvation of souls. I trusted My servant. He took it seriously to eradicate this evil of racism. That is what I am doing now. Worldwide fire prayer, covenant prayer, homes prayer, and church prayer will be ignited everywhere.”

Amen.

“My brides, you are the ones who are the recipients of My love and strength. These days I am asking much from you. Little one, what do you want from me? What can you share? What’s going on? “

Lord, a few months back we started a prayer group in church. Many were faithful and prayed relentlessly. One of the sisters had a vision. In the vision, she saw angels with a bowl and storing all our prayers in that bowl. I understood that our prayers were received.

Lord continued.

“That’s what you are doing now. Taken seriously, these prayers are moving mountains in many places”.

Yes, Lord. I had an intercessor who raised a prayer point to pray against rape. I was hesitant. However, I too prayed. The next day I received news from another intercessor that one of her acquaintances was about to be raped and she escaped. My faith increased.

Lord continued.

“Yes, My dove, prayer changes things. Don’t think your prayers are futile. We are working on your prayers.”

Yes, Lord. I confess. Family, honestly, I don’t even know The Lord’s Prayer, besides even normal prayers. I couldn’t pray for more than 5 minutes. But the Lord encouraged me to pray. Pray with the ladies continuously. It improved day by day and I learned many things. One thing the Lord spoke to me in very important detail. I was trying to lead the group by telling the prayer points, but the Lord forbade me that everyone’s prayer is His will so don’t interfere with their prayers. I consented. Then I saw more and more the atmosphere changing. There was fire and zeal for prayer and the Lord gave a word to them too for the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Lord continued again.

“Yes, Dear when you are honest and faithful in prayers I listen, I move, I bring souls into My kingdom, and prosper in you, My ways. Trust me in this season. I love you. Thank you, Dear. Offer yourself to me and I will take care”.

Amen. Dear family, the Lord’s message is clear. He is pouring out and making a call to pray in this hour. It’s an urgency to pray for nations, families, marriages, churches, leadership, and against all evil. Prayer will move the mountains and if we dedicate it, the Lord will move on behalf of us, and we will see great revival in this generation. So, compel, encourage, and dedicate to prayers ─ as prayer groups, family prayers, and intercessory prayers. No matter how small or big a gathering, we will see a great harvest. Amen.
