Chapter 9

If you are a victim of witchcraft, just know that witchcraft can only have access to you if there is a pattern it is following from your father’s house. For witchcraft to reach you there must be an attachment of witchcraft in your foundations. The cause of most scattered families was the witchcraft that was brought into homes. Many children are victims of powers of witchcraft operating in their father’s house.

There are several types of witchcraft that you might have been involved with, either directly or indirectly, that could open doors into your lives. Some of them may just be for fun or simply out of curiosity, while others are a result of the father’s actions. All of these will effectively open those doors. Here is a rule to remember. “Satan does not give anything for free”. Even a sample of his goods comes with chains attached. There are many doors and means by which darkness enslaves men, but I want to focus on three of them.

1. WITCHCRAFT DEDICATION

Household witchcraft is where a member or the entire family is dedicated to powers of evil for either protection or cultural and traditional purposes. They are sold out to the devil and have renounced God. Children of satanists are always dedicated to serving satan which brings torment into their lives unless they receive deliverance. I have seen entire families suffer and scatter as a result of covenants to witchcraft. Some people wilfully dedicate their families to satan while others are ignorant of what they are doing as they are deceived into performing dedication rituals in the guise of culture and tradition.

1.1. Dedication of the Gates

Some rituals are performed dedicating the gates and doors of the family home. All the days of their lives, the children are going in and out of evil gates that lay claim to their lives. The powers that control the gates or doors of your father’s house will also control your life unless they have been dealt with.

I believe that the cause of many people’s bondage is due to the gates of their father’s house having been dedicated to Satan who comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (Jn 10:10).

For you to be delivered, you must seek the deliverance from the gates of your father’s house. Destroy, what was planted at the gates, by fire. These gates have been standing against you in the spirit for a long time. That is why marriages, work, and children are all affected. Some questions to consider for evaluating any dedication gates.

· Do you encounter great resistance in life?

· Is your marriage on the rocks all the time?

· Are you struggling with barrenness?

· Do you see wasted lives in your family?

If the answer to any of the above questions is yes, then begin to fight for the gates of your father’s house. Pray to cleanse the doors of your father’s house, then deliverance will come your way.

1.2. Dedication through Names

Some people were dedicated through names. A person’s name tells a lot about them in many cultures. Even naming rituals are intended to dedicate a child to different powers. Specific names carry specific meanings that affect the life of the bearer. Other names are intended to resurrect powers from dead relatives.

It may be that the drunkenness you are battling with came through the name you received from the former owner of that name. Perhaps the barrenness you are facing is because you carry the name of your aunt who was barren.

Parents, watch the characters of those people whose names you give to your children. Many name their children after famous men and women. Some are named after ancient gods or legendary elders, not understanding the meaning behind the names.

In the Bible, God commanded some people to change their names if they were to go into their God-given destiny. Remember, Abraham, Sarah, Israel, etc. God asked for a name change. Others still with specific calls, and God instructed their parents to give them particular names; like Jesus, and John (the Baptist).

What is the meaning of your name? Who are the people who have ever had such a name? How are their lives, and what did they go through in life? Why is it that among the many, your name is from another clan or tribe different from the clan or tribe of your father? Was your father trying to keep alive a certain covenant?

You must ask these questions if you are to receive deliverance from problems based on covenants connected with names. Your father’s name may have a lot to explain about what is holding most of you in the family.

It is very important to call the Blood of Jesus to cleanse any name that may be keeping you in bondage, or you may have to change your name and be called by another name if the Lord insists that you change it. I advise you to seek the Lord concerning the name and what to do in case of any problem. To me, the best way is to always answer your name in the name of Jesus.

1.3. Dedications through Feasts

Family dedications are sometimes done through family feasts. At these times, special meals are prepared in the father’s houses meant to rekindle witchcraft operations within the family. Those participating, yes, even invited guests who are not family members, are actually eating with spirits and are getting initiated through the meal. Such initiation brings bondage and captivity as they are given over to the devil.

Feasts hold great significance in things of the spirit. The Bible shows us various feasts that have different meanings and significance to the people.

Many families were commanded to prepare feasts for the purpose of appeasing the spirits. That is household witchcraft. Feasts and meals that you occasionally participate in, in your father’s household, contributed to what you are going through.

Dreams of eating with the dead or mad people, or eating with strangers mean spiritual contamination through covenants being renewed. Eating in dreams shows covenants that were made through meals and evil feasts.

Most of the activities of feasts in our families and tribes end in breaking the law of God. For example, most feasts end in orgies, sexual perversion, and drunkenness. These are intended by the devil to let him operate through such acts so that a curse is brought into the family.

Take a close watch at funeral feasts, marriage feasts, introduction feasts, and family get-together feasts. The food served in those feasts is always offered to demons and whoever eats such food participates in the working of demons.

You may have been spiritually contaminated through the food you ate which was offered to idols and demons. That may be the cause of your suffering because you have not renounced the works of the devil that you partook through evil feasts.

The reason why Jesus instituted the feast of Holy Communion, the eating of His body and drinking of His blood, was to deliver us from covenants we entered into through evil feasts in our father’s houses. Holy Communion done the right way can break all curses that have been operating in our lives especially those which came through covenants of evil feasts.

1.4. Dedications to the firstborn

The spiritual world always has a great claim on firstborn children because where the firstborn goes, the family follows. It is written, “If the first fruit is holy, the whole batch is holy”(Rom 11:16).

If God takes the firstborn, it means He has claimed the whole family. The devil also knows the principal of the firstborn so he will always claim the firstborn so as to have the whole family. Most families are struggling with witchcraft because knowingly or unknowingly, the fathers dedicated the firstborn to the devil thereby giving the entire family over to witchcraft.

The LORD said to Moses, “Consecrate to me every firstborn male. The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether man or animal. (Exo 13:1-2)

We must know that if God asks for the firstborn, it must mean firstborns have significance in the spiritual realm. The sacrifice of the firstborns invokes spiritual control over the entire fruit of the womb.

While in search of wealth and power, some people sacrifice their firstborn children which effectively gives all their children to the devil. Some are deceived into aborting their first child. And others wilfully offer them for rituals to get wealth. In some tribes and families, the firstborn must be killed and dedicated.

Do you come from such a family? Are you the firstborn of your family? Were there special rituals performed over you as a firstborn? Did you offer your child as a sacrifice for wealth? Did you give your child to sorcerers and witches for special rituals? Mothers who have surrendered their unborn first child have unknowingly dedicated all their children to the devil. You may be a child of such a mother and your trouble came from that abomination.

Did you abandon, throw, or reject your firstborn because of certain circumstances? Did you neglect your firstborn? By that you let the devil take charge of parenting that child. In essence, the devil has taken over the whole family.

Case: Sister whose life is a mess

I was praying for a certain sister who had had eight miscarriages, lost her first marriage, and was undergoing the third operation for mysterious fibroids. After every operation, the fibroids would reappear even larger than the earlier ones. As we prayed the demon began to say, “Was I not a child that they killed?” I asked the sister if she had ever had an abortion. She said no but her firstborn died when she left him with her mother to go back to studies two months after delivery. We repented and asked God to deliver her from child sacrifice. It took one year of serious prayers and deliverance. She now has a nine-month-old boy but there is still a lot to do. Remember the price of deliverance.

Parents who offered their firstborn to the devil through sacrifices, dedication, neglect, or abandonment put themselves and the entire family in trouble. Repent and seek forgiveness for child sacrifice and then the entire family will be delivered.

2. EVIL ASSISTANCE

This is where you and your parents sought assistance from satanic centres or demonic powers to solve problems. If you have sought help from witches or any other methods, know for sure that you have opened the door for the devil to operate on you and your families. And the more you embrace their help, the stronger the bond becomes. It is witchcraft to seek help from palm readers, astrologers, water readers, needle punctures or diviners, and herbalists. The tools they give that are kept in your house are legal property of the kingdom.

We have worked with people who have said, “We plead the blood of Jesus over those things used by witches and redeem them”. The Bible does not give such leeway. There is always a requirement to destroy them. Even if they are valuable and secured at a great cost, start a bonfire and destroy them.

Acts 19:19

Also, many of those who had practiced magic brought their books together and burned them in sight of all. And they counted up the value of them and it totaled fifty thousand pieces of silver.

Do you have those things in your house? Has the Holy Spirit been highlighting any particular item in your house or office? Whether you understand its connections or not, submit to the Lord and burn them. Be sure to bring repentance to the Lord confessing that you took part in these practices that He calls abominations: renounce your involvement; and ask the Lord for forgiveness. After you have done that, stand in faith and command those doors to be closed.

3. REVENGE WITCHCRAFT

Revenge witchcraft is sent into the family by the kingdom of darkness to address the evil acts committed by the head of the family. Such witchcraft will keep destroying until it has been atoned for. We thank God for the blood of Jesus which is an effective atonement for any such wickedness. The following case illustrates this very well.

Case: Family X

Family X has been dealing with unprecedented calamities. The head of the family, then a grandfather, had raped and killed a young girl. The victim’s family made an open plea for their child’s murder to come forward and make reparations. They also threatened that if no reparations were made, the murderer and his family would be dealt with severely.

The old man was too arrogant to confess and repent but chose to remain hidden. As such, the victim’s family took revenge for their daughter by inciting curses that whoever assaulted their child should be struck with madness, and that extreme trouble would face him and his household. A week later, the old man’s firstborn son committed suicide. One month later his wife’s leg was bitten by a snake and eventually, her leg had to be amputated.

A year later, the second son went mad. This son had a daughter who was a member of our church. We got involved in this case when ministering to her. The old man’s two sons-in-law promptly divorced his two daughters and permanently destabilized those families. The grandchildren all suffered terrible nightmares. In their sleep, they would hear the voices of young girls crying. They would also consistently dream about a young girl chasing them and trying to kill them. Even during their waking hours, they would see visions of a young girl with blood chasing them.

The granddaughter who was a member of our church was attacked and raped five times. She got pregnant from two of those episodes and now has two children. The grandfather later abandoned his family and lived in the forest because of the calamities. They recently found his dead body partially eaten by wild dogs.

Like a flitting sparrow, like a flying swallow, so a curse without a cause shall not alight (Prov 26:2).

That ends chapter 9 and day 9 of Freedom from Bondages from my father’s house. So what is the Lord saying to us in this passage?

For me, my answer to each question was yes. When the Lord started revealing to me the evil in my father’s foundation that was affecting my life and the lives of my siblings.

Another thing he mentioned is eating food in your dreams. It is not just a funny dream or a “pizza” dream as it’s termed but when you are eating food in your dreams it is witchcraft initiation. It’s a form of defilement of your body in some way. A transference of sickness or whatever curse they want to put on you. When I shared this with Mother Clare and Father Ezekiel they didn’t believe it and Father went to the BP and got Holy Spirit and then they were believers.

Just this morning I had a dream where I was unsure if I ate something because in the dream everyone was eating around me from a coffin. Nonetheless, I thought the dream was very weird and had meaning although I didn’t know what it was. So during my Lord’s supper which is Holy Communion, I do it every day. I began to command anything transferred or transmitted to me in my dreams through food to come out of me now in Jesus’ name. I commanded it to be vomited out of me that I am the temple of the Holy Spirit. Would you know after saying that prayer immediately I had the urge to use the restroom and rushed into the bathroom and it came out.

As I received Jesus in my Lord’s supper during my Holy Communion I prayed that he would restore my body and his blood would wash me of any defilement. God is faithful and Holy Communion is powerful I urge every believer to do a Holy Communion simple service every single day for their family and their children you need it in this hour.
