Hello family, greetings in Jesus name. I have been before the Lord confessing my sins. I sinned against the Lord when I lost my patience and got angry with my children. I'm not easy to deal with. I have anger issues and I really struggle to control it, let alone I seldom depend on the Lord. That's the reason I fall into anger.
He has told me several times to depend on Him, trust Him and allow Him to lead my life. Yet I'm insecure, not trusting the Lord with my life and I dwell in constant fear of offending the Lord by sins. Yes, that weak I am. Yet I'm loved to the point where I've failed in my actions. The Lord is forgiving and merciful towards me. His great love suppresses all my sins, mistakes and vices. He knows me and knows very well when I fall. Yet His mercy has always been on me. I am not privileged.
I didn't do anything to earn this. That's the Lord. His greatness, His love doesn't change by my conduct or offences. He is there watching, praying, loving me. This great love is for you all. If you have seen my messy life, I am not qualified for anything. Yet as a father loves to lavish on his children, so he has lavished his love on us. Praise God, praise the name of the Lord for who he is.
I was before the Lord feeling condemned. I heard a voice. He said,
“Why don't you trust the Lord?”
I was clueless and doubted the familiar spirit. On a personal note, I want to share that when you hear a voice that is condemnatory or lacks peace, it may not be from the Lord. My mentor always said, see the fruit. The fruit of God's word is peace, encouragement and hope. If you are having positivity in you and you're feeling encouraged to trust the Lord, then it is from the Lord.
A familiar spirit, on the other hand, encourages trust in the Lord and motivates you to do things that are not relevant and aligned with the word of God. Always be on the lookout for any pride in your heart. If you are rising in pride, most likely you will see familiar spirits. Discernment is too important and knowing the ways of the Lord. So as I pressed in, He said,
“I'm Apostle Simon. My dear, trust the Lord in all things. When you don't see or you see, trust when things go wrong and you are hurt by your sins. That's your fight not to sin. He knows what He can do. Don't be in despair when you fall. You fear that He can't use you. That's not the way the Lord says or thinks. He is wise, loving, gentle, humble, worthy and gave His life for us. Yet He is not the way you suppose. He does what He thinks, what He wills.
So trust His intentions, His will for you. What you can't do, He will do. Take time and trust. Things will come in his will, okay? Be encouraged and wait. Be encouraged and trust that He will do. Pray and learn to control your desires. Trust and give Him the space to do, okay? Pray. Amen. We are praying for you. Trust and love.”
Amen. That was the end of the Apostle Simon's message. Be blessed family. Remember the Lord is faithful even in our failures. So trust Him.
Amen.
